  • Haven't been on for a few days

Out of the freezer this week has been 2 tubs of stovies, mac n cheese and some salmon fillets which I got reduced a few weeks back

The only things in have been a half loaf of bread as it wasn't getting eaten, same with a pack of meat from the fridge as didn't want to waste either, we tend to eat more of these over the weekends so will rake them back out later in the week.

florenceem that bread looks yummy, was it easy to make?

In to freezer - 3 tubs of veggie stew + HM crumble.
Out of freezer - HM quiche + something fishy for Friday.
JJ's herby cheese bread is very easy - just mix all in a bowl. Recipe on MSE Recipe thread - bread section.
We had HM veggie casserole with herby dumplings + jacket potatoes for dinner. Got 3 tubs full to go in the freezer.
Also made a crumble to use up LO crumble mix in fridge.

  • The roast chicken was scrummy even if I do say so myself. Enchilada's tonight and then curry with rice and nann from freezer tomorrow. I can already see the bottom of 2 draws and if I were to have a rejig I would probably be about 1/3 empty.

  • Afternoon all

Kirri come out wherever you are! Did you get this months waitrose mag? Some good receipes in there, no freebies.

So I used up a bit of gammon, had it with pittas, cucumber, lettuce and a dollop of mayo it was yummy!

Tonight I will use the other piece of gammon cooked with asparagus, carrots and kale on top of some brown rice I've bought to try and the rest of the cucumber and lettuce, I've also made some lemonade, the organic lemons were starting to get brown spots.
