Soworried Impressive baking, love the pics
Florenceem looks yummy, I look forward to your daily photos
Freezer movements:-
Out yesterday: turkey bones for stock. The stock was so thick it set when cool and I need to separate out the bones etc so I think I'll get the rest of the ingredients ready for soup, then gently warm it, take the bones and skin out and make the soup. I'll have to wait until this pm to do that as I need leeks out of the order being delivered this pm.
The soup that will go back in the freezer will occupy more space than the bones that came out, and here I am trying to reduce what is in the freezer not add to it as it's heaving at the moment, I must be stupid.
Also got out some cooked ham and turkey - guess what left overs they were, made a pie for DH and turned it into a small curry for myself as I worked out there would be less calories. Almost forgot, sliced apples for pudding, didn't realise I had not enough milk for custard, no ice-cream or cream, so made a runny toffee sauce to go over the top. DH has requested that again.
In: Some Ginger and Treacle bake, a Mary Berry recipe. I freeze all my baking in portions as it disappears if I don't. DH always blames the dog but the dog never puts on any weight!!!0 -
Zafiro, I just spat my tea out when I read that about the dogs weight:rotfl:

The free milk coupon is back, in the Waitrose mag dated 16/1
Redeem by 23/1. MNR - you've probably already spotted this!
Not much shopping here, mostly veg.. bland meals continuing so they are all variation on a theme.. I did take some pics but hadn't got round to uploading and they all look much the same! Having a small org veg delivery today, though in Waitrose this morning they had quite a bit of veg reduced including plenty of organic but had to resist as didn't want to overbuy.
Not really used anything up as mostly I am having to buy fresh. Might make a bean dip later though from the yellow split peas in the cupboard.0 -
Kirri i was just coming on to mention it and ask if it was bland enough for you to have! lol, i find that it doesnt freeze well, just seperates, am i freezing too late? or is that just how it is.
