Eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge - part two

@rtandon27 how can he not see it if it's slices? I love the stuff and often use it.
Forgot when I posted earlier that I needed to get some mixed frozen fruit out of the freezer for breakfast in the morning!

Can I join in?
I have been saying for months I need to run down the freezer contents. I don't have a lot of freezer space for a family of 6 (2 undercounter freezers=6 "shelves". I also have overflowing, disorganised kitchen cupboards (not good for a professional home organiser 😱).Some of it is Christmas treats, but there is also lots of duplicates. I am looking forward to my cupboards and freezers being able to breathe again 😂.
I have had a look back through the thread, but can I ask, what are you counting as the "ins" and "out"? Is it how many new new items enter the freezer/cupboards, and how many you use up?

@Saver-upper I only count anything I put in or remove from my freezers, I too have cupboards over flowing, just too much to count, although I am being really firm with myself about using what I have, and not buy more because a great offer price, I am in the declutter thread too and making inroads there.

OUT: Oxtail for tomorrow, all this talk of oxtail made me fancy a warming stew.Do I need it or just want it.3 -
I too only count anything new which goes into the freezer or comes out of the freezer. It would get too complicated if I started adding what goes in and out of the fridge and cupboards!

Thank you for the advice re how you count the items in and out of your freezers
I spent this morning cleaning, sorting and doing an inventory of my 2 under-counter freezers:
Freezer 1:18 part-packets of sausages 😱😱(a couple of full packets, mostly 2-3 sausages each. The result of buying 3-4 different flavours when we plan sausages for tea, freezing the uncooked ones, and not getting them out to defrost in time the next time we have them. So I buy more . And the cycle continues.😑.NO MORE!!2 takeaway containers of parsleyPart-bags of chillies x7Drawer 2:
4 chicken thighs4 chicken fillets, freezer burnt2 pkt mango coconut and lime chicken filletsPkt spring rolls2 shortcrust pastry sheets2 pkt tortelliniDrawer 3:
A bag of chicken drumsticksHalf bag and a full bag of soya beansBag baby Broad beans1/3 bag of chips1/4 bag curly fries1/2 bag sweetcornNearly empty bag of peas *1 Shortcrust pastryPkt 8 lorne slices (I am not even sure what this is. My partner must have bought them.)
* will replaceFreezer 2:
Drawer 1:2 garlic breads1 naan breadFrozen raspberries in takeaway containerMeatball sauce in takeaway containerLamb shankBen and Jerry 's Cookie chunks 😋
Drawer 2:
Packet turkey breast steaks, bought in 1st lockdown when I couldn't buy chicken . I thought I could trick my kids, but noooooooooooooo 😂😂Chicken fillets, freezer-burntChicken fillets500g mince , freezer burnt750g mince500g mince2 more part pkt of minceDrawer 3:
1/2pkt sausage rolls1/3 pkt chicken dippers3 chicken nuggetsIndian bitesPiripiri chicken wingsDuck spring rollsQuiche lorraineFlora x4- I always buy a few of these when they are on special
Thrown out:Packet of 7 meatless chicken skewers2 burgers, freezer burnt1 packet of 5 pork chops-will cook up for our 2 dogsTakeaway Container of soft serve ice cream the children had bought in the summer, and forgotten about.Something unidentifiable-looks like pieces of frozen tofu pieces, but it's not2 vegetarian burgers, freezer burnt
Lots to be going with there! I have rearranged everything so (mostly) all like items are together,so they don't get forgotten.(While having bolognaise last night I was wishing I had remembered to buy garlic bread, not knowing I had 2 in the freezer 😑.
Going to sort the cupboards and fridge later.Fridge isn't too bad,but cupboards are overflowing 😑😑.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Good afternoon I would like to join you all please.
my freezer used to only contain ice cubes frozen peas and occasional tub of ice cream, but when the March lockdown took me by surprise I slowly started to top up my usual shop with extras and now my cupboards and freezer is bursting.....
so although 10 days of stash would be useful if we have to self isolate, I think I may have enough for 10 weeks!
so I will start to rectify this, hopefully save some money on my January / February grocery bills and get some organisation back to the kitchen!I used to shop every other day or so which was great as we wasted very little if anything. But now I only go shopping once a week it requires a bit more planning on what I was used to doing.
so thanks everyone for the motivation.Out of freezer today - soup for lunch, fish for tea5 -
