@zafiro1984 with the weather being all weird, sure some cold nights will come along shortly for all those lovely meals! Maybe start with the fish (which is a bit lighter) and the mince and then the rest. Very jealous of those pies. I am just learning how to do fruit pies, done a pear tart and tomorrow doing fig tart.

Out: Continuing on from my aim to use what i have first, doing some baking today. The wholemeal bread is busy proving on the window sill, just took out some tahini cookies.
Dinner tonight is stuffed peppers with kitchen cupboard staples like rice, olives, jarred artichokes.
Also straining the HM pear brandy today, so can use the pear slices for a boozy dessert.

Yesterday it was the braised venison from my 'need to use things up' drawer. Today I've taken out of said drawer some turkey stock, turkey bits, ham bits, put them in the slow cooker with veg and pulses to make a thick soup/broth. That will do for tea with some bread rolls.

I also took out of main freezer a couple of turkey legs, they are just about to go in the ironheart (poor mans aga) so I can make sandwiches tomorrow as we are out most of the day. I've enough stuff in the cupboards to make biscuits for tomorrow and scones for tonight (it has to be scones as I've discovered the milk has gone off in the fridge and needs using up). They will be eaten with cream and strawberry jam.

@zafiro1984 it sounds like you doing well on using up what you have first.
My week been a bit topsy turvy, but I finally made the fig tart this morning with the gifted figs and it was very tasty, the smell woke up Ms C who had a slice before she even had coffee!
Out: Sausage for dinner last night. Last of the raisins and sesame seeds for cabbage salad for dinner tonight.

O.M.G, forgot what a nice chilli that was, ate with cauli rice.
Think that pork joint defrosting is the missing lamb joint, even better.
