laid up with a back spasm, Sat, so no standing to cook, baked beans, microwaved and 2 fried eggs,
Sun, fortunately had fetched out before spasm struck, a piece of pork,
Mon chicken thighs, made a sort of stew, found a packet of chasseur mix added to thighs with some veggies, vile, ate some chucked most, then spent most of the evening dealing with an i.b.s. attack.

Thanks @joedenise , not a bad one really, once I lie on my bed, laying on my wheat bag, find the correct straight position, I can, as in this one stave it off from developing to 24 hrs of sheer agony.

Since it getting to the end of my current growing season on allotment, decided to take inventory of my 2 small freezers. Took a few photos of each shelf and then wrote down a list of what i've got. Combined with a shelf stacked with tins and another full of herbs and spices, realised i can cut my weekly spend right down for the next couple of months at least.
In: Thursday: 5 portions Courgette Lasagna (from allotment veg). 3 portions Beef Kheema Curry (using allotment runnerbeans)
Saturday: half of sliced Courgette loaf (from allotment veg)
Out: 2 salt&pepper Basa fillets, Friday lunch.
2 slices of meatloaf, 2 portions allotment chard, HM chicken gravy all topping mash for dinner friday.
1whole chicken to take for lunch to sis, sunday (now monday).
1 chicken breast, 1 muffin hole sized portion pesto, all for pasta dinner saturday.
Frozen pear slices (from allotment), block pastry, 1/2 jar bottled pear quarters (HM from allotment) all for HM pear lattice pie for lunch with sis sunday (now monday). Never made a fruit pie before, came out lovely!
Will decide later what to take out for dinner. It's good for the soul to walk with your soles on the soil.2
