Thanks pamdish. I actually found that recipe ploughing through the ‘sneaky ways to save pennies’ thread his morning. I will be trying it out.

joedenise - where did you buy frozen cherries? They would be ideal for making wine.

Havn’t got a Lidl near me but they are in the process of building one nearby.  It’s only about 200 yds away from Aldi (my usual supermarket) but I will be trying it out so I will look out for frozen cherries.

I bought them in Mr Ts.  I've also previously bought them in Aldi.  Have to say they could be quite expensive for wine making though because they're quite small bags!

Hadn't got anything out for dinner tomorrow so have now got some pork steaks out.

    OUT: Battered cod or haddock
IN: 4 new battered cod or haddock, they come packed 2 to a box so I push them all into 1 box of 4.
4 sourdough baguettes, pack of beef/pork mince, no pork alone, after all the talk of faggots put the thought in my head as I had run out in freezer, already got everything else.
Do I need it or just want it.
