In: Costco shop yesterday, spend a quiet morning listening to HRH Prince of Wales on Classicfm catchup while portioning salmon, smoked haddock and chicken breasts for freezer. They also had a special on part baked petit pains, half for cupboard, half for freezer.
Out: milk. I've never frozen lacto free milk before, but the price difference between low cost shops and supermarkets is crazy. It either 85p or £1.50 on one comparison i made. And between work and covid i can't go queue every few days. Fingers crossed it tastes ok.
It's good for the soul to walk with your soles on the soil.3 -
Can't see any reason that lacto free milk frozen and then defrosted will be any different to ordinary milk. Just make sure you defrost it slowly and give it a good shake to remix it as it might separate.
Nothing in today.
Some mixed beans & a small portion mixed bean goulash out. Will be combined, some extra paprika, another onion & tin of tomatoes will be added to make sure there's enough for tonight's dinner and possibly enough for tomorrow lunch.
