I'm using a recipe from a website called slimmingeats.com.  The woman who's writes the blog is a British woman now living in Canada and it seems they can get less than 5% lamb mince!  Wish we could here, the lowest fat content I've seen is 10% and then I have to make a special trip to either Aldi or Sainsbugs as they're the only places I know that do that one.  I use frozen lamb mince from the Land of Ice which is 15% rather than the other SMs which tends to be 20% fat.

Forgot to get the mince out last night so got it out this morning but have left it on the side to defrost so that I can spice it and mix ready for cooking later.

If you cook it you can then refreeze in portions so as not to have to eat it all quickly or for it to go to waste.

The kebab at lunchtime was a lovely flavour but the "kebab" was just very crumbly but I'd certainly make it again.  Think it might have been better cooked in a tin and covered with foil rather than just wrapped in foil as the bottom didn't brown at all and had to drain it quite well because it was sitting in the fat which had come out of the mince.  Think it would be quite easy to pour the fat off from a tin unlike a piece of foil!

    In - nothing else
Out - sausages for breakfast tomorrow
