I have managed to squeeze four (I know!) panettone from the bakery counter in Morries into my freezers - they make into the most fantastic trifle!

Out came two lamb chops for tonight and some lamb mince to make shepherd's pie for tomorrow

    OUT: Gammon joint.
I have put in loads of veg, but don`t list those, had to throw out a few lingering bits, knobs of ginger, corriander and some beetroot, if I have not eaten them in the time they have been in there I never will.
Freezer absolutely rammed, not much planned on coming out either, as my neighbour and I eat Christmas dinner together it`s all in her freezer.
January is going to have to be a total freezer use.
Do I need it or just want it.

    In:-
    milk, blines reduced price,

Out:- 2 x pea and ham soup, bread rolls for lunch tomorrow.

We are still eating things from the fridge, tonight was a couple of sausages wrapped in bacon, and left over pear and ginger trifle made yesterday.

I've loads of food in the freezers. We don't eat chicken at all but I've certainly enough home grown turkey all in portions to last the year. It took me several hours to portion, bag and label everything on Christmas Eve. The smallest turkey was 4.4kg without giblets and the largest a whopping 13.2kg again without giblets.

Because we are extremely busy at Christmas with the turkeys I don't have much time to prepare things so I do something Christmasey every day for the twelve days as my DH loves Christmas.
Christmas Day - Put the Christmas tree up and the meal
Boxing day - cold leftovers wraps and pickles - my favourite day
Friday - I iced the Christmas cake which I made about two months ago. Saw a thing in the Which magazine which I've done, - put leftover Christmas pudding in vodka, leave for a few months and then it turns into a Christmas liqueur.
    Saturday - made brandy snaps
    Sunday - made trifle
Today:-made a tray of mincemeat pies with the mincemeat I made several months ago.
