Oh HM white pudding that sounds divine - is it boiled in a "dumpling bag" rather than stuffed in a skin? I've only made skirlie before which is great but not the same.

Yes same as the dumpling process. Mum used to make a batch of skirlie, and had a small muslin bag she had sewn up herself, soaked it in boiling water, squeezed it out put the skirlie in, tied it up and immersed in simmering stock I think for about 40mins, removed from the bag and allowed it to dry out a bit in a warm oven.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Since last Sunday, received my online grocery order. These products were mainly those that I regularly use. Had two bicycle trips out Xmas shopping but did not buy any food for myself.
Not been so well recently and perhaps similar to Need2bthrifty, this has affected my appetite and food choices? Today, having a go at making homemade yoghurt.0 -
