Mini-challenge for me is to end the month with just one freezer drawer (from four) being used. Earlier this year, it was just the one which was 90% full. At the start of this month, two drawers were full. I'll focus upon using up mainly my ready-made recipes.0

Wow I will be happy to have just one empty drawer (out of 5)
Good idea to use ready-made recipes first Will try thatSlimming World at target0 -
Hi meg72,
It has been a lengthy process for me to use up, rather than buy more and/or do more batch cooking. At the moment, the store cupboard is well stocked and the fridge cluttered. Time to put things into the freezer again! Will try and estimate how full the two drawers are at the end of this Sunday.0 -
OUT of freezer - 5 Fish Fingers (for OH) plus 3 G/F Fish Fingers (for me); container of Mushy Peas.
INTO freezer - two small containers of Stewed Apples - for HM Fruit Corners0 -
Finally got the big chicken pies out and all used up this week at our community lunch where it was my turn to deliver. Having made them in March, I then realised the tins wouldn't fit in the summer oven (doh!) so they have had most of a whole drawer all summer. Room for more apples I think now, and lots of YS meat bought yesterday with a voucher for £8 off £40.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £2135.07/£3000 or 71.17% of my annual spend so far

I've been slowly using bits and pieces up, but my freezer still seems to be bursting with food!
So I've planned out the next 3 weeks of food to use as much from the freezer, as well as the cupboards too, so I can feel like I'm actually achieving something!0 -
INTO freezer - One half-price whoopsied Gluten Free Pizza - cut into two halves and wrapped in clingfilm :j!

Update for the first week of my mini-challenge (to reduce freezer contents of two full drawers to just one full drawer by the end of this month) :-
The space in the two freezer drawers appear to make up 31% emptied so far.0
