In: chicken wings, grated mozzarella, crispbreads
Out: spinach, peas, croquettes, "vintage" HM pasty which had the dubious honour (I think) of being my oldest frozen item (frozen 16/03/16:o) and was absolutely fine:D
Used up: sourdough bread, various ends of veg, bacon, grated cheddar, OOD eggs (made a savoury bread pudding:))

    In: nothing
Out: scampi, HM pre-baked spud, peas, spinach
    Used up: pate, beetroot
  • Used up 2 Chicken Leg Quarters from the freezer for tonight's tea. Also removed 1 Gluten Free Loaf.

I've now got 'gaps' in the 'mini freezer' (top bit of F/F), so will transfer something from the chest freezer. I desperately need to work my way down in that to get it defrosted .......... I'm certain that I'll have lots more room once it's done ;)!!!
  • In: Nothing

Out: 2 salmon fillets, few blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries. Also more old rolls used up and some kale

I'm starting to have breathing room in there so while I'm not ready to defrost yet, I might have a rearrange and scrape a bit of ice off - I know I've got some baked potatoes in there, and beetroot, which I also want to find! :p
  • For tonight -

Out of freezer - Sliced Roast Beef; Smoked Haddock; Green Beans
Out of veg cupboard - baby potatoes
    Out of fridge - Salad

No Spend Day yesterday or today - so nothing to go in :j

  • back from my holidays and going to use as much up as I can as the freezer seems to be getting fuller by the day I brought some gorgeous foraged blackberries home with me and struggled to get them in. I swear the food multiplied in the past fortnight whilst I have been away.I am out for dinner today at DDs so tomorrow nights dinner will be hopefully a bit of pork fillet dug out of my freezer. I did manage to use up the last of my green beans last night from the freezer, but I shall also use some of the sprouts from the freezer as well so with luck it should start to reduce a bit
  • Got to grips with the top couple of shelves of my freezer and found the jacket potatoes :). Really needs defrosting though! But the ratio of courgettes and blackberries to other bits and bobs is growing nicely - free foods, so less money tied up in there :):)

Out: 2 jacket potatoes, portion of stewed apple, bit of chopped beef or pastrami (not decided yet :p), gooseberries (not sure what I'm going to do with them yet but they've been in there for yonks!)

In: Basil and flat leaved parsley from the garden
