No weekend food shopping purchases although last week more "yellow-stickers" were acquired. These were mainly a quarter of the price with just one at half price. Also, picked some chives locally and will be collecting any edible plants from the garden this week.

Yesterday, probably more went into the freezer than come out.

Defrosted the fridge freezer yesterday. Still a lot of food to use up which I considered when I booked my online food groceries due to arrive today.

Yesterday, was also mainly a sorting out of fridge items, either using them up or freezing them. So just 7 days left to meet my goal; empty two freezer drawers from the four.

The (food) grocery order arrived and this was largely stocking up on UHT milk. Just one extra purchase made which is dated well into May.

Yesterday, used up lots of my fridge stored "vegetable glut".

Wednesday - Just using up fridge stored last bits in jars. Also, got some more veg. ("yellow-sticker" mushrooms). The last of the Brussels sprouts (New Year "clearance") are in the fridge to be used.

Two appointments out meant that there were opportunities to buy more food but there was either nothing wanted, or didn't feel like looking.

Yesterday, all the Brussels sprouts (3 kilo/£1 purchased last January) are now used up. Beginning to feel I wont reach my goal to empty two freezer drawers by the end of the month?
