I actually went to M&S this evening and only bought a loaf of bread and a couple of pack of biscuits, that must be a first for me.
i'm now on a money diet regarding food. Milk, bread fresh vegetables and fruit only to be bought. I hope to wean myself off buying most of the fruit and vegetables over the summer as I grow quite a lot myself - here's hoping0 -
My online food grocery delivery arrived today and largely consisted of UHT milk. Nothing was requested that would have to be frozen.
My (frozen) "carrot glut" is still being used up e.g's. pickled carrots and carrot buns made today. Will try and not put any back in the freezer.0 -

Hi, I've been busy these last few days; gardening and also acquiring a lot of free fresh vegetables and fruit. These have taken some time to prepare and therefore not to waste. Oops, so I think a lot of them will have to be frozen. Must have originally cost a lot to buy though.0

Freezer drawers 15th - 21st April 2018 = Drawer space is slightly more than the 14th April (about 1.95% from 2%). This is "deceptive", however, as the fridge is packed full with perishables. Last day to see if I can achieve 2 drawers empty is the end of the month.0

L/o cooked rice + prawns + veggies, fresh + frozen to make stir fry for lunch and taken l/o portion of frozen Kung Po sauce, red onion, peppers and chickpeas (pre-cooked & frozen) to slow cook for dinner. Already took rice & curry from one freezer for last night, soup from another for yesterday lunch, took loaf out for toast to go with. So one freezer half empty now (small) another has 2 drawers with space in them and a little room in 3rd freezer. Will buy some fish & veg from Iceland this week, spend £10 x 4 until end of May to get £5 off so why not.0
