Was very impressed with the Chicken & figs, unexpected. The fig rolls are good, made a sort of fig and oats type thing but bit dry so will have with custard - over about 3 days. Took another Gusto meal from freezer today, was a meal for 2, cooked all the meaty part together & froze in 2 portions, just got to add the fresh ingredients now.0

A few things in and out over Easter. (In: Lamb leg, ice, ham stock, Out: salmon side, gammon joint, chicken thighs, tinned toms, lentils, hot cross buns)
Today's challenge is to tidy out the fridge/bread bin and see what needs used up and what needs frozen. I'm hoping the space I created can be kept going, though the large bag of ice purchased for G&Ts is taking up a load of room. I suppose it's progress that there was room to add it!0 -

Hello all, i'd like to join it too if you don't mind. I couldn't get another thing in my freezer if I tried. Weekly home delivery was Monday.
I live alone and have to be careful what I eat. I have an autoimmune condition which food can badly effect. I tend to eat 'clean' so my freezer is jam packed with fruit and veg and some meat. My fridge is also packed with veg and meat and also dairy which I can have. My food cupboards could probably feed a small country for a month, they're absolutely packed.
I have set myself a goal of £50 a week for food shopping and that includes dog food, household stuff and toiletries. I will not be buying any cans of anything until there is a huge reduction in what I have and I will only be buying fresh what I really need.
