^ How much was the tasting collection? I got it from Ocado the other week on offer, currently eating my way through it, I am less likely to over-eat chocolate buying those mini bars even though the 100g bars work out cheaper.

I'm probably going to go back to ordering a veg box from A&C from this week but might nip to the dreaded Morrisons tomorrow (which I usually try and avoid at all costs) as the organic little gem and cucumber were good last week and I am almost out of salad.

Flo, love your pies and I am looking forward to the first sprouts of the year.

G&B was £1 off Kirri and the offer at Tesco ends 26/11. I thought you had a big stash from Ocado ;)

When Morrisons rolls out internet delivery, it will all come from one of Ocado's warehouses. It won't come from individual stores so the variety/quality of organic veg might then improve.

^ can never have too much G&B... I have some left from the Ocado offer, had some given to me last week but I will probably get more on the Waitrose offer too!

    Today:
    Breakfast - banana and oj
Lunch - pitta bread and fresh cashew butter & clementine & mini G&B..
Dinner - rest of the pomegranate/grain salad I made yesterday, another portion of the feta, some of the frozen HM courgette fritters and a pitta bread (bought more today from M&S, not had time to make bread..)
    Will have more fruit later.

So only a small amount of the freezer.. but nothing in the fridge is being wasted. Portion of feta to use tomorrow, will make another grain/pomegranate salad. Portion of red pesto I need to use soon too. Annoyed I didn't realise the tofu had a short date when I last got it so now it's a month out of date, not sure I will eat that. Only other fresh thing to use are tofu sausages.

Would the tofu ferment ? The Taifun tofu with basil never makes it more than a week in my fridge before being scoffed :D:o

The Abel & Cole organic gluten free pork and leek sausages hovered indecisively over the freezer, then I decided we'll grill the lot and OH can take a couple in his lunch box tomorrow so fried eggs, sausages, swede mash, peas and tenderstem broccoli.

I've no idea? It appears to be disintegrating! I put it back in the fridge, not sure why.

    Where is everyone?

    B - yoghurt/granola/oj
    L - pitta/fresh cashew butter & mini G&B
D - made another grain salad (giant couscous, bulghar wheat, quinoa, puy lentils, pearl barley) with more of the pomegranate seeds, HG chilli, HG pepper, HM dressing, portion of feta (divided last portion into 2 so have enough left for tomorrow), also had frozen HM HG courgette fritters, frozen HG beetroot portion - this was griddled the other week, frozen and reheated really well, just chucked it straight on a baking tray from the freezer, perfect!
Will catch up on fruit intake tonight..

I've picked another huge batch of beetroot so will now griddle, portion and freeze most of this. Still LOADS in the ground but doesn't seem to be affected by the frosts. Picked a lot of carrots, some rocket/salad leaves and fennel. Got parsnips to dig up too. I might pre-cook/freeze some of the carrots/parsnips as well as the beetroot as it's too cold/wet/muddy to keep going to get them.

Wish I'd made more courgette fritters when I had an abundance of courgettes..

I opened the tahini tonight, it's bb2011  looked/smelled ok but it's virtually solidified and is too solid to stir the oil back in. I might bin it as a bad job but now I've got into the salad dressings I might re-buy it and use it this time..

I have pulled out a portion of beef casserole and dumplings to take to work for lunch tomorrow. The cold is making me want comfort food.

    Nothing has went in.
