  • Ended up falling of the waggon and went to chippy last night as work colleague who I car share with was on about going to chippy so made me crave one. So its the fish tonight. Did manage to get some chicken roll out of freezer for sandwiches so there is some small achievement.

I've not cooked any proper dinners, just been snacking on houmous, HM bread, salads and veg for lunches and dinners as didn't want to waste any.

Might cook tomorrow, will use up the tofu in veg fajitas probably.
  • Evening all.

I did a little shopping and ended up buying 2 reduced gammon steaks, which means the only meat I have in the freezer is pork in the form of, bacon, gammon, shoulder joint and sausage meat. I'm over pork for Now, will buy some chicken or fish during the week, I refuse to Just eat1 meat all the time.

I finally got around to making burritos, made my own tortillas too, really easy, but I need to perfect the rolling, so it comes out round rather a really odd shape lol. All ingredients from cupboard and freezer.

I used this one kirri http://allrecipes.co.uk/m/recipe/1864/flour-tortilla-wraps.aspx

Very easy, when I run out of bread I'm going to make these, they are so easy!

Just had a thought maybe I can put stuff in the dough, that could be interesting, with a dip would make it a bit thicker and cook it for longer.

    Morning all :)

I'm still watching from the sidelines and getting inspiration from you all. Kirri your salads look so good and put mine to shame so I'm going to try to be a bit more adventurous with mine too. Not entirely sure where to start but need to go grocery shopping tomorrow or Monday so I'll see what the stores have on offer and try not to just get the 'same old, same old'.

    Have a lovely day everyone.

What's wrong with the portion size??

(no updates from me, busy week, not much cooking, few meals with family, random meals when home..).

They are a bit small for an adult, Im assuming that is what she means.

:rotfl: tell that to the jeans that I tried (and failed!) to squeeze into this morning. Those little calorie creatures have been hiding in my wardrobe again and making my clothes smaller during the night
