What is "YS" salmon, I've honestly never heard of it?
A couple of cream crackers or pieces of French toast with cream cheese, smoked salmon and caviar is often what I have for my lunch, erm not sure I'm meant to be admitting to that on here.2018 totals:
Savings £11,200
Mortgage Overpayments £5,5000 -
YS is yellow stickered, so something you find reduced in the supermarket.0

A busy day today, but seemed to have fitted quite alot in.
Shower part arrived and fortunately I was home to receive it. I've fitted it and all is good again there.
Weather was glorious sunshine here, so I used the sports car to take DS to his medical appointment - that went well and the car is getting the use it needs to improve idle. No phone call from the garage owner today.
Batch bolognaise made tonight, so spag bol for dinner this evening and 4 more have just gone into the freezer.
Financials:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
- Nectar adpoints - picked up another 8 and up to 49 points
- Nectar Canvass - will look at shortly as an email arrived
- Nectar card - still at £56.56, but registered for the other 4 train companies, so expecting 800 points/£4 to be credited soon
- Inbox Pounds - slow going, but up to £16.01
- Qmee - another 10p in the pot
Need to book our train tickets for Saturday still. My cousin is also frugal so won't have any big spend worries on the day.
Looking forward, I think I should be able to pay myself just over an average month's income on 2nd May and to help things along further, am hoping to work at least some, if not all of the Bank Holiday week at the end of May.
Budget for debt repayment next month is sitting at £280, possibly £300. Or all of it if the sports car is sold, though as the debt is on 0% I might hold a bit back to get maximum bank account interest at 3%. Let's see what pans out.
Hope everyone has had a good day.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Ahh, I see. Don't really do much supermarket shopping.Very popular nowadays - available in L!dl
:rotfl: Can't say I've tried Lidl caviar but am not adverse to trying something new.
Didn't realise you still posted, Igamogam.2018 totals:

A busy work day today which is good for the income and looks like I shall also be working on Saturday 3rd May. Will need to move Doglet No.2's groom appointment to accommodate it, but worth it for billable work.
DS has cooking at school tomorrow. More notice would be useful, but had most ingredients except an onion and some basil, so off to Sburys I have been.
Should have spent just £1.12 on those two, but a few YS meat joints caught my eye and the spend went up to £17.37. So I shall blow my month's budget with 1 weekly shop to go next Tuesday. Unless I cheat and push it 2 days forward into May!
Leg of lamb £8.55, Medium Pork Loin £4.00, Beef Joint £3.70. All now in the freezer.
Put £25.02 of personal use petrol in the car whilst I was up there as need some for Saturday.
A phone call from current electricity supplier (who also supplied our gas until I switched) phoned earlier as well - usual blurb about staying. An opportunity to ask how the investigation was going on the final gas bill from mid-March where they'd charged a higher price on units due to a 'payment method change' when I had done no such thing.
Ended with a positive result - they've credited the account with 19pI had written it off, but it's mine. On the phone for 50 minutes sorting it (glad they phoned me
).
I missed 2 phone calls today from a private number, but no message was left - wonder if it was the garage owner? Guess if it was important, they'll phone again.
Financials then:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery (both) checked
- Nectar Adpoints - another 4 added and up to 53
- Nectar Canvass - did an 80 pointer last night
- Nectar Card - value still at £56.56, come on those train points
- Inbox Pounds - A better jump to £16.49
- Qmee - nothing today
Pack of 4 pork steaks are out of the freezer for tomorrow - 2 we'll have Somerset Pork Casserole with mash and veg, the other 2 I'll make a sweet'n'sour with, as there's a large jar lurking in the cupboard and that can be frozen in portions.
Hope everyone has had a good day.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Big failure this time, it's normally 1p over. Very disappointed in myself and don't talk to me about how it upsets my budget :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:

17p after the fuel overspend...I'll be having some wild dreams on what I can spend that on :rotfl:
Or does it pay for DS's onion at 12p...?
Or a kwh of electric at 10.95p he used over Easter...?
Too many choices :rotfl:Back on the DFW Wagon:
