    Evening Diary :)

After much thought, I've decided to start a new diary on the MFW board to chart my journey to mortgage freedom.

DFW has been, and remains, invaluable as it's set in stone the good habits I'm keeping to get rid of the one thing I've had for almost 29 years. I might get some 'carefree' days once it's gone :rotfl:

I'll still be over here reading and following though if you'll let me ;)

The new chapter is called 'Had a mortgage too long, so it's going, going, gone!' or similar :rotfl: Can't quite remember :o

So is this the end of an era Ali? :(

Are you calling time on 'the march?'

A sad day for us but being debt free, if the mortgage is your mission I suppose it's the place to be and the thing to do. I'll have to follow you there then and hopefully still receive the inspiration when in a quandry I think 'what would Ali do here?' :)

Have a great weekend Ali :).

Broggers x (it was you who gave me that name :( !!) Sob.

Good morning on this gorgeous sunny day :)

I'm no good at links, but hopefully this will work and lead you to my new diary https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5302147

It's a new chapter in the March to Financial Freedom Broggers - it'll look and feel the same as afterall the mortgage is still a debt, but I'll pepper it with my spreadsheet fiddling findings more often :rotfl:

And I'll still be reading and following your journey too, so it's not goodbye at all :)

Skinny - I'm taking the new office and the wheels start turning on the formalities on Monday. :)
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18

Hi Ali, I'll jump over on to your new thread but just wanted to say I tried the lemon drizzle cake recipe from a few pages ago & it was very good. :j DH was very happy & it was very easy to make, thanks.

Is DS still being a Kevin? My mum always used to tell me to stop acting like Kevin the teenager. :rotfl: Actually she still does sometimes and I'm in my 30s now. :rotfl:
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.
