My life is same as yours. As soon as I reckon I'm on an even keel then something else goes wrong. I was about £800 for fascias, soffets and gutters but it was workmates of DD's so got it a bit cheaper. £2.5k sounds a lot
You'll be back on top in no time MiT. We can't stop the clock whilst debt busting, so stuff does come along and bite us on the bum. £2,500 quote was including the side door and window, so without that about £1800 probably - something like 28 metres I think, wide house, plus half again for the extra downstairs areas.Have your vit B12 levels checked.
Thanks Ig - GP forgot to tick boxes and sign the form, so I've got to take it back to the surgery before the bloods are done.

A very busy day of two halves - work this morning (all good) and college interview this afternoon. I'm in :j:j Paid up, got my student ID card (with discounts) and start in September part time eves. Didn't need the essay nor my old certs - they'd mistakenly got me down for the full time course which did require those. There will be the books to buy and registration/membership of AAT to do - both planned for early September cost wise.
Quote for side door and window is in at £640 supply and fit inc VAT. I'm going ahead with that, seems quite a good price for both, though it is 1 months capital mortgage payment (or 3 months OPs). I see these spends differently now that's for sure.

Another hot day, another 'feeling funny' day complete with head off balance and burning neck/tension - will have to book Osteo appointment as it all points to that at the moment. Vision is almost normal tonight too.
Work was all good and tonight I'm considering doing the food shop but might watch the Games opening ceremony instead.
Financials:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
- Nectar adpoints - all done and at 54 points
- Nectar Canvass - an 80 pointer done
- Nectar card value - £74.03 still
- Inbox Pounds - up a little at £8.63
- Qmee - nothing has come up again, so still just 11p in the pot
I've ordered the door and window - no payment until fitting, will be 2-3 weeks, hopefully can be done whilst I've got some time off.
Someone I know has a set of AAT books going, need to check they are still the ones in use, but that'll save some money on buying them new even with the 40% college discount.
Sat Nav has paid for itself a few times over in the space of a few weeks and I've another potential new customer outside of my old travel radius. This is great news and bodes well for growth and August figures.
Back to getting up early tomorrow for work - was able to lay in until 7am today which was great.
Hope everyone has had a good day.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Done shopping and watching the Ceremony
Spent £27.83, will update sig shortly. Quite alot of fresh/summer foods and more bits to give to Mum for having DS. So not too bad considering, but am way out on the old £20 a week. I must be slipping even though I'm still meal planning. There are quite a few treat/snacky things in there due to school holidays too.
