Thank you all so very much, means more than I can put into words for your support. :A Decision made, subject to doggy holiday!
Didn't sleep well at all overnight, which is most unlike me and have been tired and tense all day, but it's lifted a bit tonight as I had a great time with the dog trainer and 1.5 hrs later, he'd only take £10 off of me (instead of the £30). :j It's me that needed training as much as the dog, but I'd kept up (just not got quite right) everything from last week, so am chuffed with accomplishing loose lead, no lead to heel, focussed recall in a field next to rabbits, horses and a deer that floated past! :j So that's complete unless it slips away or I want to get both dogs walking on the same side (he showed me in principle). So £20 back in the pot...or will £10 go on a gardening tin?
I've found another holiday of 9 nights for £1100 in Majorca, but still not booked anything. I need to ring the trainer's wife who runs the diary for the dogs in the morning to see if there's any space. Not holding my breath based on knowing they get booked up early especially during the summer and the trainer's reaction.
Financials then:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
- Nectar adpoints - nothing to do there, still on 51
- Nectar search - up at 56/100
- Inbox Pounds - up at £7.34
- Qmee - nothing new today, still £1.85 in the pot
- P!necone - second survey points converted, now £6 in Paypal
Will move Qmee & P!necone to the bank account soon.
One other spend tonight was milk at £1.38 at the local shop - not had time to do the weekly food shop tonight and will be late home tomorrow, and milk was the only thing we couldn't manage without for another day or so. Finished the roast beef up from Sunday too - it did well to last 3 days.
DS will be letting himself into the house tomorrow after school for the first time, so we've done the 'how to unlock and open the front door' training. I'll be late home due to work. As if I didn't need extra worry this week, but sure he'll be fine.
I've booked another piece of work in for this month, which should see me pay myself an average month at the end of it. Makes all the extra effort worthwhile to beat previous years and to not touch the emergency fund for bills. :j
I'm going to jump on the exercise bike for 20 mins and a few miles - that surely must ensure I fall asleep easily tonight :rotfl:
Hope everyone has had a good day.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Evening,
Have kept today simple - work, dinner, dogs, DS.
Been given some home grown figs too - had those after curry for dinner out of the freezer. Yum.
No room at the doggy inn for the holiday dates I had in mind, so have to think of something else. I've blocked time out in my diary anyway, so will just make sure I take proper whole days off from everything then.
Financials:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery (both) checked
- Nectar adpoints - no new, still on 51
- Nectar search - up at 64/100
- Nectar card value - up at £70.95
- Inbox Pounds - up a tad at £7.36
- Qmee - nothing added today
Some scheduled work has moved out of the month today, so sliding backwards from average income. Ah well, c'est la vie and there's still a week to go in the accounting month so something else may come in to boost it back up again.
Dentist appointment is tomorrow night to get the broken tooth looked at. Food shop also on tomorrow's agenda.
Nothing else to report today - slowing down indeed!Back on the DFW Wagon:

Home grown figs....luscious
very envious.
Pity about the doggie hotel dates. Is there an alternative eg. a friend house sitting ( and so looking after the pets) for a holiday? We have done that before.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Dribbling a bit still from the anaesthetic, but got away with it being filled on the side/back edge and a bill for £58. Will need a crown or cap in future, as it's now more filling than tooth apparently.
Brizzled, I like the idea of house sitting so will ask around.Yes, figs were lush, very lucky indeed to have those.
Talking of spends, I've sorted the house insurance renewal - Sbugs came up cheapest on the comparison sites, or slightly more expensive going direct but with £25/5000 points - so I've gone via the latter as works out cheaper overall. That will boost the Nectar card valueCost £155.92, so a £13 saving on last year.
Third spend of the day was the food shop at £21.14. Pleased with this, as quite a few extras for the school hols. Will update total in sig shortly.
The financials then:
- bank account checked
- freepostcodelottery (both) - checked
- Nectar ads - I'm getting a domain expired message??
- Nectar search - up at 64/100
- Nectar card - up at £71.95 with a mysterious 200 eShop bonus added - details show no purchase!
- Inbox Pounds - up at £7.46
- Qmee - 11p added today and £1.96 moved to PP
Best bit of news was DS's school report - fantastic and very proud of him. :j

He's the one that isn't keen on going anywhere - not unusual for Aspie kids as change of environment and routine is hard for them. He'll go if there's a pool and wi-fi though.
He'll also get a good report pocket money bonus from my Mum!Back on the DFW Wagon:
