Parking Eye - Aldi

No, send them to Laura Theobald at the same address. She should sort it out I reckon - give Laura a chance and say you were advised to contact her direct! Keep going, particularly in view of the Equality Act issue. This is unlawful of Aldi and by PE. Out of interest, how many minutes did they say an 'average' customer stays? That's an interesting fact that you can expand on, since someone diagnosed with anxiety and depression is not an 'average' customer.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Why do they spend so much time defending the indefensible and in the process peeing off the one party in all of this most important to their business - their customer.
And just how many rogue parkers do they actually 'catch'?
If I was a 'rogue parker', they'd never catch me - I'd just roll on into their car park, go and do my business anywhere about town (other than at Aldi), get back and then get the flock out of there within 90 (or however many) minutes, even parking in their disabled or mother and child bays, and let the poor old, elderly, disabled, genuine customer sate the PE greed for wonga, by picking up 'my tab' for a 5 minute overstay, just because they can't move as fast as me.
And I'd be considered totally innocent in all of this nonsense - in and out in 90 minutes.
Go figure! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

She's the Mr Nice Guy of the two

OK, as the letter was written my Rachel though.....
Who is senior?
BTW, I don't know if this is relevant but on the PCN, it has photos of the car and a blown up photo of the reg plate. On one of the photos of the car, the reg plate is not readable, only in the blow up0 -
I will ask how long an average customer stays. They haven't said0

BTW, has anybody actually counterclaimed for their time and expenses after successful POPLA appeal?
Also, where do we stand under the Equality Act issue? Who do we report it to?
In terms of Harrassment, what can you actually claim/do about it? I believe that harrassment can only be claimed by the individual and after they have told the other party that their contact is unwelcome and will be considered as harrassment. I guess my partner should contact both Aldi and PE and state this?0 -
To be honest, I'm getting a bit disorientated by all of this!
OP - can you please summarise where you are in terms of:
Soft appeal to PE?
Complaint to principal?
POPLA code?
POPLA appeal?
POPLA draft?
POPLA submission?
We're almost 200 posts in to this, by when most PE issues are done, dusted and as stuffed as a Christmas goose! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Yep, 'trubster' on pepipoo did (was a PCM ticket, disability discrimination and the Retail Park paid compensation out of court after a strong LBA was served), and 'Biker Paul' on pepipoo has just served court papers on ParkingEye after winning at POPLA. Both gave adequate warning from an early point that they would sue if it wasn't dropped, so both PPCs had it coming to them & their client.
And another poster got compensation from a debt collector for harassment a couple of years ago, and another one got a payment from UKCPS that the landowner (Savills) ordered them to pay!
And 'grunwald' on pepipoo won in court against Excel when they tried to sue him after he'd lost at POPLA (disability issue POPLA didn't understand). Grunwald could have counter claimed damages from Excel, IMHO, but he did a great job of defending the matter in court and raised it with the Equality Advice Service too.
And two individuals have got settlements after suing Vinci and NGP for waste-of-time unwarranted fake PCNs. You can Google for those as they were reported in the papers in 2013.
Yes you have to state to all parties that it is construed as harassment and warn them about your intention to claim your costs. But to be fair to us(!) this is already covered in the Newbies sticky thread.
Must admit this thread is astonishingly long and full of unneeded stuff already covered in the sticky threads...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
