Ah - I misread (North East - though for some reason NE London!). Not sure about the coverage, BUT trying to talk with them is a nightmare - unless you go via multi options and choose "thinking of leaving Orange" you can hang on for (literally) hours! Also, they charge for message reports, voicemail AND don't offer the most generous bundles. Apart from all that, Vodafone has Passport and Stoptheclock, cpw O2 has 0845/70 numbers but Orange only offers free internet for a couple of months. By the way, O2 also includes picture messaging in their bundle - 1 picture is charged as 4 texts. Worth having with a decent camera phone! Vodafone, Orange (and, I think all the other) networks charge extra. Virgin and Vodafone also have free voicemail access - O2 and Orange charge.0

Any other feedback on mobilephonesontheweb?
They are doing the Samsung U600 for 12 months free on a 12 months contract (as are phoneboxdirect) but mobilephonesontheweb WILL port my number to Vodaphone; no one else will.
For this reason, I'm very tempted. Their t&c's don't look too bad - 28 days to claim, paid into your account.
Any experiences much appreciated!

Us Lononders tend to assume that the North-East means Walthamstow. Hard for us to envisage that there's intelligent life North of Watford...0

I don't see a definate connection between mobilephonesontheweb and mobileconnections. However both offer cashbacks with 30 day claim period. So many other providers are giving only 14 or 21.
**update - I take that back. It acknowledges them as 'their partner' which could mean anything!
Of course words are cheap. Will these companies still be around? will they pay up?
I'm tempted to take a punt on a 12 month contract on mobilephonesontheweb esp. as they will port to vodafone (many won't) but will look around some more for feedback
A search shows them as "dialaphone ltd" - since 2004What goes around - comes around

Did you get any more feedback on mobilephonesontheweb? Their website layout and much of the content is identical to mobileconnections online.
Interestingly, I requested a call back from them as I wanted to query the Vodafone porting process and they identified themselves to my bf as Mobile Connections. So perhaps there is a legit connection? They were good at calling back promptly, although they did give me the hard sell on another deal.
I think I'll go for it.
Let me know what you think.
Best wishes.

They're related companies. (Everplus group)

which shows they were required by a poor performing public company, but it seems this was probably a smart business move from

Other than that I've not found anything particularly good or bad. There's some complaints, but only a handful I could find...
The mobilephonesontheweb website is very well done (but talk is cheap!)
I'm disappointed to have not had responses to emails yet - albeit only sent today.
I'm still trying to look for other options that
- offer good cashbacks
- allow 30 days to claim
- supply vodafone contracts
- will port numbers to vodafone
Since currently have a handset on O2. Retentions can't offer less than 20 pcm, Orange signal is useless in house. Not convinced TMobile are over the "no signal anywhere" days, and particular (non 3G sadly) handset is wanted. Leaving either O2 & loose number (or double port) or Vodafone (best signal)
Any other dealers recommended? (or just listed!)What goes around - comes around

Clearly the company has been in the business for a number of years and seems to have a number of press releases around etc, but have found some negative comments now like

Well,
I've gone for the contract with mobilephonesontheweb. Vodafone, 500 minutes, 250 texts, Samsung U600 and 12 months free by cashback.
They did quite a prompt callback and my Quidco cashback tracked within 5 minutes and has now been validated (next day).
I recieved an order confirmation email this morning (day follwing my order), so all seems positive so far. I will keep eveyone updated with how this goes.
Fingers crossed!
