Yes - DH and I met on plenty of fish Married (very happily) almost 4 years now - got engaged and moved in together 3 months after we met, then married a year later. However we did actually vaguely know each other already, through a classic car forum that we'd both been members of for several years before we met via PoF!

I met my husband through a mutual friend on Facebook. My friend posted a status and we both commented on it, which led to us chatting privately. Neither of us were really looking for a relationship but it was obvious right from the start there was something there.

We were living 400 miles apart with a sea between us and I decided to book a short break over there, just to see how things went. Three months later he moved to be with me and we've been married two years this year.

I think the internet has been great for bringing people together who might never have met .

• My very best friend met her husband playing online scrabble! He moved 6500miles to be with her .
• Two guys at my work met partners through World of Warcraft, one of them is married to the girl he met and they have two kids (she moved up from Englandshire) and the other moved up here to be with the girl but when it didn't work out he stayed anyway.
• Another friend of mine met her fiance through Face Party, anyone remember that website?

I met OH through Plenty of Fish, and I think I managed to catch the best one out there :happylove
