I met my husband on Myspace - got chatting due to a shared interest in a band, met in person for the first time at one of the band's gigs and got engaged on stage 3 months later

We're celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary next week, and we have our second child on the way. Nothing to be ashamed of, meeting online, it's a massive part of modern life now IMO!

I met my husband on excite chat about 13 years ago. I lived in Manchester and he was in London. He was 24 and i was hmmmm 14 years older! We have been married for ten years and just couldn't be happier. I do think "chatrooms" seem very different nowadays from what I hear from others though I never bother to go on them.

I met my OH on a dating website.We got talking around May 2012, both got back with our exes, then started texting again in the August, had our first date in the September, then 6 months after that we moved in together and lived happily ever after! (I hope!!!)

I should add when we started talking again in August 2012, we'd both split up with our exes!

I met my now husband 9 years ago on a site called 'face party' was all a bit of fun to start with, now we have been married for 3 years this year have a little boy of 4, and been in a relationship for 9 years,
We also played world of Warcraft where we knew in game friends who actually met up and got together via the game,

I met my OH online in February 1997 and we got married in 1999. We both had Virgin internet (both had a free CD) and met in one of the chat rooms. Met in person in April 1997 and been together ever since.

Met my husband online on a forum set up by our uni for old, current and potential students (this was in the pre-Facebook days). He was a former student and I'd just started. Having started a Master's at a different uni in the UK as a foreign student and finding it difficult to cope, he remembered the forum and logged on for some advice. I was having a tough start at my uni myself so figured we could help each other out. We started chatting by email and then by MSN...basically fell in love online and met in real life 2 months later. After that we saw each other as often as possible in a long-distance relationship that spanned 3.5 years and sometimes more than 800 miles depending on our locations :eek: I always planned to move country to live with him, though, which I did in 2008. We lived together for 2.5 years before getting married. We celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary this April

Met my husband in a chat room (Freeserve/Wannadoo/Orange depending on what it had be re-named). Met 10 years ago, married 2 yrs ago. Our wedding guests included 3 other couples who'd all met in the same chat room

Met my husband online in 2009. I'd not heard of PoF before a MSE friend mentioned the site. Heard several horror stories about PoF & got contacted by a few shall we say erm "oddbods" :eek:
Anyway this one turned out to be my kind of oddbod , got to know each other via MSN & FB, met 2010, fell in love, got engaged (some might say stupidly quickly), married summer 2011. It's not been all roses and sunshine by any means but nearly 5 years later we're both still here
