    Afternoon all

Meeting decluttered, 2 reports to write and paperwork for tomorrow to read. I will get it all done by Friday night to clear the table for getting my sewing machine out for the weekend.

To bake a cake next and then see what I can achieve before my friend comes around.

    Hello everyone

    No flying being done!!

Could I ask a favour please
DH and I are off to the hosp this afternoon, hoping to get a result from the CT scan and the biopsy, DH is quite poorly at the moment - could some of you get on the fly lady bus and bring some "good news" vibes with you, its awful here, I feel sick with tension and have a massive headache from it all, really praying for good news.

Apologies for not coming on more often but its hard to keep up with everything, I cant concentrate for more than 5 mins on stuff - I'll be back though as we are living in a muddle and I really need to get back on track

    Sorry for the rambling

Just done a spot of decluttering – equivalent of nearly a month's DLA, to the blokes who've been here all morning painting the garden fence (a task that in years past I'd have done myself but can no longer do) and cutting back the overhanging stuff from the ancient hawthorn, blackthorn, elder and other trees that form the “hedge” outside the back fence. It's money well spent, it's a lot tidier, and there's a lot more light coming into the garden now – it's 2 years since the hedge was last done. They take all the cut branches away with them, too, so we don't have the task of disposing of them.:o

I did keep the lounge curtains closed while they were here – too much like being in a goldfish bowl, iyswim;) – but I was able to have the “boss” step into the kitchen while I wrote their cheque, so that's pretty good going for me.:T

Sparrer good to hear doglet is feeling a bit brighter:T – a good groom does them a world of good; and I don't know about you, but I find grooming a dog to be calming and therapeutic (unless the dog is Bailey, who is a total teenager about being brushed, lol).:D

Raph I'm so glad the little dog's owner was located. They really need to get her microchipped and have an ID tag on her collar. Even a disc with a mobile number on would help.:o

Thifty don't worry, you didn't upset me re DNA:o – it's something that has bugged me for decades; I remember one GP telling me, quite logically, “even child molesters have kids; it's your misfortune to be such a kid – you just have to live with that”. But if there's even a chance I'm not actually his offspring, I'll hang onto that hope.;)

Helen barrow-load of “good news” vibes here for you, mate – winging their way across town to you right now. Don't apologise for not posting much – we all understand, so don't worry about that.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Not really. Where are you coming in from? The bus system is very good but it all depends where you enter the metropolis.:D

If you want to PM me with your location, Deco, I'll try to help.

I have been flying a bit for DS2 and DDiL2 and playing with DGS3 for two days - on my way home this afternoon. The carpet fitter should have been by the time I get back :)

Tidying up going on here again, having decluttered OH to The Smoke via the station.

DD finished school for the week now so she will be barricaded into her room to tidy it tomorrow whilst I get on with the rest of the room.
