Morning all
Lovely to see you pop in Valli and vomfree vibes for today.
We all overslept, I'm still tired. Just looking for a couple of documents for my meetings and then I'll get the WM on, it is currently rinses after yesterday's pet bedding wash. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Squeak off nursery after upchucking all over OH at 3am... my bedding is all in the wash, 1 of OH's pillows and thank goodness the rain has held off today.. it was 5am before I got back to sleep.. I was freezing so got up and put my fleece nightie on.. as I got back in bed I realised I might not manage to feed Pixie while wearing it.. but I managed.. she slept from 11pm to 7am.. such a difference to Dots 3am-4am!!
I had loaded both washers before bed last night so they are both on, as is the dryer with the baby stuff I partially dried last night. The cutlery drawer had hardly anything in it so I emptied it and it is soaking in elbow grease at the moment and will be wiped out shortly and the cutlery tray run through the DW with the WM drawers.
New broadband being sorted laterWe may have constant connection hopefully.

DS not really well enough for school although is better than he was. Got a few bits in for the fridge, just having a cup of tea then going to make a start on carrot and coriander soup.
Then I'll slowly pick my way through what's left on the list in between "eating" the plastic food I'm being fed and reading library books.Bossymoo

Wishful Wednesday ~ the frightening full spare room
- Go on plastic hook hunt to remove the horrid things
- Arrange bed/furniture
- Sort AS kit for work on Saturday, post sale items to FB page
15 minutes...
Clean floors
Got an hour...
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Extra Mission ~ Choose one or more of:- Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
- Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
- 30 minutes ironing.
didn't complete yesterday due to a combination or over loading the to do list and deciding to soak off my acrylic nails. First time in years I've had 'naked' nails and I feel so weird! Ordered an 'after acrylic' repair kit today so will use that for a few weeks to try and strengthen them, nails were bad enough anyway due to underactive thyroid
Got most of the spare room cleared up and boxes stashed in the attic, just need to hoover and play about with furniture to finish the room for now. Boxes of shoes will have to stay there for now, need to have a think about storage ideas as I've got less wardrobe/cupboard space now than in the flat. At least there's space in there for a bed now when we get one, that was the main goal of last night. Will finish it up after the desk job before I start on the kitchen/diner.
Am quite glad it's the kitchen tonight actually, am needing the prod to get some re organising done in there. The big cupboard is bugging my happiness. The previous owner put in three shelfs but none are secured and two are still in the celophane. It could be a great place for storage if it were properly done so I'm going to make that my weekend project. Will measure up and plan what to do, pick up the wood from the big orange shop and strap on the pink toolbelt while the OH is at football on Saturday.
Speaking of the OH, got an amusing email from him today. He has a young loon (17) working as an apprentice at the company, he sent him into the tool shop this morning to pick up a left handed hammer. Sounds mean but the poor chap is rather gullible, one of the other guys once sent him into the shop to pick up some tartan paint for a pole and he fell for that too :rotfl:
Good news HelenJ on the big C front, fingers crossed they can get an answer soon for you.
Hugs to everyone who needs them today
