Kaz - thanks but we're better on our own at the moment but I shan't forget your offer xx

News - well at the moment its not Cancer but there is a problem that may involve removing the Kidney, the scan pictures were amazing, they showed the uretha and kidney [Consultant also showed us the healthy one to compare] its all in a bit of a mess, DH goes back into hosp on Monday as an extra urgent case to see if they can put a stent in the tube and get a camera to the Kidney - they ran out of time last week when they tried to do this but this time the Consultant has cancelled other Ops so he can spend time on DH and get to the bottom of the problem, if he can't then he will be reviewed and maybe face a full blown Op with the removal of his Kidney yikes!!! His Kidney is about half the proper size and the tube is about 4 or 5 times bigger than it should be and there may be several tumours in it, so its still a waiting game but at east they are treating him as quickly as they can

A massive thank you for all the vibes - I'll be back on Monday asking for more please

  • Evening

Lost a post half way through thanks to DD4 and a big slam dunk on the lappy!

Shed load of good wishes to helen and Mr jelly

Busy frog munching today- not so much flying per se, except for odd pieces of paper leaving the house

DD3 hook slung out of door for school

Paperwork for DD4 done for nursery, Paperwork and enjoyment questionnaire done for DS for nursery

Asked for corrected bill for DS and DD4 (they didn't charge me enough!) and paid so that's not hanging over my head now

Went to Old William's house to find out that they have closed the case or Mr I can't drive for a Werth£rs original without pursuing the independant witness from Mr M's leaving me up creak - DD1 is not an independant witness enough if it went to court.

Visit to Mr M - one employee remembered the incident, but it was him checking we were ok when I was on the phone to Police......not the one who actually saw the accident, he suggested an employee who it could have been, but this guy isnt in until Monday.

Got emailed letter from DD2 uni to go along with DD1's uni to give to Council Tax people to prove I am not living the life of Riley with 2 megabucks earning adults in my home....went into their office and shoved under there noses! hopefully no more sniffy letters!

Went to pharmacy to sort out scrip and get some over the counter stuff to settle my tummy while its currently on spin cycle with all this aggro

More fence panels have had it, went to builders merchant to get some delivered for Friday...hopefully nice NDN might help again so garden is secure for DS to run about it

Skinty strongly worded complaint letter to builder printed and sent recorded delivery so he can't ignore it

Hung around to scoop DD3 straight out of school, took tribe of young Skints to swimming pool to watch DS have his first swimming lesson (glad I got the session, faaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrr to many people on the second session once everyone gets back from school run)

WM and TD put on timer for cheap leccy

And good news........I am not going to be a Nanny Skinty anytime soon,2 big FAT negatives, so no horrible agonising over kidlets vs education - phew

Bad news EX's job under 90 day consultation....just need to find out if he is voluntarily going to put his head on the block, and hope to goodness he keeps his portion of the roof over the young Skints heads

No more flying flying going to go on Daisy duty in a minute, then call it a night!
The cold never bothered me anyway

FBO I will be coming in from Leicester way as I'm going to see friends before. Thanks too to Ionafan if either of you two ladies could help I'd be most grateful.

Deco - and anyone else coming to the flylady meet by car - there are no park and ride facilities for buses in Birmingham. This page will give you details of railway station car parks - look up Marston Green on Google maps - this station has a frequent train service to Birmingham New Street, max. 12 minutes according to the timetable, though trains sometimes sit outside New Street for 5 minutes or more (today the excuse was animals on the line) which you will find here. Coleshill Parkway is another possibility for you, but that is only an hourly service. Check details of this and other station parking facilities here

As of today we have a carpet worth hoovering in the downstairs bedroom :D
Flying will recommence tomorrow morning with more shifting of furniture and packing cases as we move downstairs temporarily and start renovating upstairs.

DH's very large leather recliner is about to be rehomed, with someone calling to see it tomorrow and another interested party waiting on the result of that viewing. I also need to rehome 2 small filing cabinets but first I must empty them. Many of the pieces of paper, e.g. old leccy bills, can be scrapped now that we've been here for over 4 months.

    Personal challenge update:
DH and I have each been awarded our 1 stone weight loss award :j:j
Seeing how other people are doing on their personal challenges and reporting on our own progress has been a great encouragement to us to stick at it - thanks everyone.

ETA: Glad you have had some good news, Skinty.

Helen and Mr Jelly - yet more posivibes and prayers heading your way: it sounds as if Mr J's consultant is determined to sort out his problem asap, which is great.

    Hello girlies

    wow

two night I left work with the caretaker - at 7:30 pm - given I get there between 7:30 and 7:45 I am doing 12 hour days...

I am prepping for future work and catching up on tasks that need sorting as I find them...

    I am po-fagged

come half term I will have a Toots list like you wouldn't believe and it is ALL urgent

But tomorrow we go to the National Tramway Museum

    No child sick vibes please

and if anyone has a compunction to clean I have

    lego needing washing
keyboards needing cleaning - and we're talking jammed keys
    dentist
    flu jab

and task after task after task....

and if you are working with 29 6 year olds drawing a chalk line on a carpet - well - you would have thought I had committed arson;) (at least three are 7 now, actually)

all I needed was a class in a line...

    meh

    (missing you all *mwah*)

Lego can go in the dishwasher apparently. Keyboards get turned upside down and shaken to remove crumbs and how about masking tape on the carpet to make a line?
End of my usefulness I'm afraid :o.
Me mountain challenge will have to go on hold this week. DH staying home tomorrow and if I start painting, I think it'll make him feel more ill :(.
Will catch up with the lists tomorrow. For now, I'm off to bed. Night all xx

oh don't worry - I can, and have used washing soda to clean lego. I have zippy net bags so the washing machine - with bio powder, to remove ICK will be done.

Washing soda ina sink is strangley satisfying as there is LOTS of opportunity to exclaim, in a dismayed/disgusted voice, as to state of whatevwer it is you'rw washing.

I use it on keyboards too, after I flicvck all the keys off (not to self - photograph the keyboard prior to dismantling)

    and say eww

    frequently;)

    but advice MUCH appreciated.

apols for typos I am SO busy.

And so loking forward to Christmas which I now know I cna afford...

Morning all. Not much flying will get done again today as paid stuff too busy, but I've just been informed by DD that my first job is clearing up dog sick in her room.

Have a great day everyone, right off I go....

    Morning

Working off yesterday's list, slowly, def catching a bug. No school today due to strike so big one can entertain little one while I crack on. Followed by a Westfield trip for prescriptions, special milk, voucher spending and lunch I think.
