Evening all, quick report to say the cleaning is all done but I also wanted to add.
Am so glad the fire alarm item was in there, seems that the previous owners weren't worried about fire safety. Not only is there no battery in either alarm but they are so full if cobwebs and dust it seems there hasn't been in some time.
As they are so minging I'll be picking up new ones while I'm out tonight.
Please everyone, if you only manage one task today make sure its that one!

Kazw I feel the same
so many things and so little time.
DS brought out of swimming early - spiking a temperature. Dosed up and sent to bed after a cuddle. Used the excuse to get DD off to bed early too. Have done nothing with my evening except gassing with MIL
She's going to look after DS tomorrow if he's not well enough for school. So, my alarm is set (for 5.40 ) and I'd better get my stuff together for work...

Hi ladies, just time for a quick post before bed. Another busy week, didn't get time or energy to do bathroom yesterday but have hoovered all through house today, and changed bedding in master bedroom. Will set my alarm a bit earlier tomorrow and try to do bathroom before work. Off to see Jason manford tommorow night so will be out all evening, have the day off workThursday to take dd1 to another dance exam so hoping to spend the day de-cluttering (well that's the plan)DFW no.630!

Sorry folks, not caught up with thread so hugs, spoons, sticks, vibes etc as needed. I'm just checking my list before I go to bed as I stayed up tonight to watch the football and DD has been hogging her laptop. I need to look at mine again, something is slowing it right down again. I'll do that at the weekend while DD is away for now I can borrow hers while she's at school
My list for Wednesday:
Laundry : lights, darks, towels, mats, cleaning cloths (last thing)
Wash skirting board & back corner paintwork
Wash up
Clean worktops / window sil
Tea in slowcooker - top up the stew from tonight
Mop kitchen / livingroom
clean bathroom
Ironing
Admin (Mr A order to start, pay CC, review finances, 'finish' toots list)
Work (write up calling book, sort out spreadsheets, update files)
Right, I'm off to bed. The extra 30mins is already making a difference to when I can get up in the morning:wave:
