Morning all.
I was supposed to be heading home from town around about now to avoid the lunchtime shoppers but I haven't made it over the door step. :mad:Its just been one thing after another but finally I'm just about ready to leave. But looking at the time I might as well stay home, have lunch then go out therefore saving me the cost of buying lunch somewhere
I told DD I wanted her home from school by 4pm tonight but it looks like I'll be getting home after her now. She won't mind since she has her keys with her.
So my plan before I leave is:
[STRIKE]Tea in slow cooker[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] Write up paying-in form for bank[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE] Lunch[/STRIKE]
Write proper shopping list.
[STRIKE] Check forum for deals/offers/vouchers
Doubt there'll be any though for where I want to go :rotfl:[/STRIKE]
I best shift myself. Lets see if I can be out by 1pm :rotfl::rotfl:
ETA: Oh well, the shopping list is not that important as the shop is just up the road and I can always go back later if I need to lolCreeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Afternoon
Everyone sounds very busy today. Hugs and well wishes all round. Tiny has had her 6 week check up this morning. Now weighing in at 9lbs 11oz with an agreed cow milk intolerance and eczema. She's a very windy baby which explains some of the inconsolable screaming we've had of late. Currently waiting for the plumber then off to the pharmacy.
No joke but the home looks like a bomb went off. I'm not sure what happened.

Firstly, THANK YOU everyone for all the positive reinforcement. Much appreciated.:A
I never found any group activity to be helpful; quite apart from the fact that I was as scared as hell of all the other attendees, I ended up taking on their pain, and stressing about their troubles, iyswim, which seemed completely counter-productive. Just a mo..... *puts check-chain and lead on Skinty's BD and leads him away to BD-pound.*skint_breeder_5 wrote: »Group Therapy for BD attended, although I fear it may be a waste of my time and money (course is free, but I have to pay for DD4 to go into nursery)
My one hope in all this mess is that the man I was brought up to call my father may not actually have been. I have no way to know for sure, but there's a small glimmer of hope that I don't carry the DNA of a child-molester. I have to just hold onto that thought.:o Gods, I'm a mess, aren't I??:DYour DNA providers were certainly something:( Despite them and their abuse you are a lovely caring individual much loved by MrLW and canines nationwide as well as us flyladies:A:A:A

I've even been out on the buggy, to the Paste Orifice (as Mr LW calls it). That was mega-stressful because for the first time, I had to actually go in and hand the package over the counter as it was too big to just post in the box. I managed it; my heart was absolutely thumping and I felt quite sick, but I got it done.:T
HB sorry, I've run out of quotes (you can only do 3 at a time) - thanks, the ulcers are still there, but touch wood not actually getting any worse. I think it's just a flippin' lupus flare again, as one of my earring holes has started weeping - one that's been there since I was 16 - which happens sometimes during a flare.
Bonnie ouchy! Take care - you're not getting double-vision or nausea are you? If you do, please seek medical help.
Onwards and upwards - big pot of :coffee: on the table, help yourselves.:DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Re today's Deep Clean Challenge - my airing cupboard is A-OK.:D Top shelf contains: the pair of bath towels not currently in use, clean hand towels, a spare "hair towel" (I use a separate towel when I wash my hair), two spare flannels (used for holidays) and two towels we can loan to guests if needed (like when Ted has to have a bath, the towel he brings isn't adequate) or use if we need an extra towel for anything.
Lower shelf has a pile of assorted napkins, tea towels and spare padded place mats on the right hand side (all used, in their turn) and the rest is empty space for putting clean washing in to air before putting away - currently the only thing occupying this is a top I washed yesterday; today's washing will go in as and when I get it dry.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Good Afternoon everyone

No time to update last night because i was.....erm..... sat on my fat bum watching TV *hangs head in shame*
I did do 20 min in the bathroom - kicked my boots off, jumped in the bath and did the stupid shelf thing, had an argument with a dddy long legs, cleaned all the tiles around the bath and shower, swept the floor, cleaned the radiator and the skirting boards, wiped around door framed then cleaned the floor by hand because my ever so useful OH decided to throw the mop and bucket away (he will do anything to get out of mopping the kitchen floor)
Laptop dumping ground remains in a state of despair and my dog chewed the heel off my boot while i was cleaning the bathroom.
On to tonights challenges then - i need to make a few changes because my hoover is broken. Also i had a brutal clearout over the weekend so have a head start there
. What are the sticky roller doofers called that pick up pet hair? (got a big one in home bargain cheap) I'll have to sticky roller doofer the matress.

I'm here, just pottering about, not working from any list today just doing what I see or feel like doing

Been to a certain well known weight lose club this morning and had a great loss :j Haven't been for a couple of weeks due to lack of finances and BD so very pleased.
Mr O&O has been in contact every day this week so maybe I was wrong with my previous prediction
DD2 is back at school though still doesn't feel like eating, going to have to keep an eye on that.
DD1 has warned me that she thinks she has a cold coming but went off to college quite happily.
I managed to get her a job dog sitting, which should be quite regular, starting Saturday. It's for my best friend's brother & sister-in-law, their dog is quite old now and has lost his friend and doesn't like being on his own when they work evenings. The pays good (wish I'd offered myself now
) and she'll get some quiet time to do her course work.
DW and WM have both finished now so off I go :wave:0 -
