Lost my post earlier..............here it is...............

    Hello all xx

Cheese pnwheels in the oven for packed lunches, DD had a cooked dinner and is ready for Guides. OH dinner is ready.

Car battery was flat this morning, for some reason, so got a lift to school and walked home. Either OH will be home with jump leads or DSD will be back from college to take DD to her Guide's.

I've wiped down the kitchen but have a couple of dishes to do..........I'll do them after OH eats.

May try and get a bit of ironing done when DD is out.................

    Hugs to all xx

Since then, the internet went down and the laptop ran out of charge.

Put it on charge and done some ironing, OH cam ein and had his food. Went to jump start the car and it was having done of it!!!! Called for a mechanic neighbour to help and another neighbour to move his car so OH could put his van in front of the car instead of blocking the road. I went to the shop for bread and when I got back the car was running...........Quick dash to get DD to Guides and now I'm sitting down.............Going to look at list and see if there is anything I can cross off anything (I have done most of the dailies)

Hi Deco - When you say a granny square, do you mean the ones with different colours, the sort that are usually done for blankets? If so, can I help in any way? I've got over 200 of them and one day will sit down and sew/crochet them together (that's a Toots list item).

Thanks Rebecca - I'm trying to follow a utube tutorial Nicki kindly put a link up to - I will pm you if that's ok? I don't want to take up too much of the fred

Deco.. I can't crochet to save my life.. I have tried many times!!! I just don't get it.

But your knitting is beautiful - you've inspired me to knit my niece a cardy for part of her christmas present. Oh and your words to LW were spot on - thank you I couldn't have put it so well.

    Hi again,
I washed the bath mats and some towels, they are now hanging up to dry (also progress for me) I cleaned the sink and loo, still need to do bath and shower screens. I sorted out my huge collection of cut out recipes and thinned it to about 1/3 of what I had and I did some washing up.
Now I am in the spare room/study and clearing the bed in there and just generally having a bit of a tidy :)

  • Hello,

splitting headache, so this is going to be brief.

I cleared my desk, tried tidying up under it but stuff wouldn't fit any better, still it looks better.

Bathroom, oddly I did the getting rid of half empty bottles on Friday and so it is good to go. I have put away my ironing and hung out clothes for tomorrow.

thank you for the welcome XXX
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Evening all.

Lamewolf, glad you're ok. And you are Very Lovely & don't you forget that xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well, I've been exhausted today due to small child not sleeping much last night. So I'm about to go to bed.

Today I cleaned the bathroom & downstairs loo.

I did a wash load, put a wash load away & did some ironing.

    I also hoovered downstairs.

Let's hope I get some sleep & I have more energy tomorrow. Although looking at the calendar it's nearly that time of the month. And I'm always exhausted. I only thought to look at the calendar as the 3 for £1 walnut whips I bought today have all been eaten. By me. :o

    Night all

    Love, hugs & spoons xxx

Spent 10 minutes in DD3 new room putting it straight so it doesn't turn into disaster zone
