2 minutes sit down with a drink before I carry on. I've even managed to declutter 4 out of 5 of my on demand programs while flying downstairs :D

Wash up -1lot done, another still to go.
    Clean worktops / window sil

Going to vacuum the last 4 steps of the stairs I can't reach from upstairs then right through downstairs. DD will not be impressed when she gets in to find the quilts/cushions from the 2 sofas are all piled on 'her' sofa :rotfl:

    TMI warning:
Going to have to add "repair nail" to my list as well. My dodgy nail split then a piece peeled off before as I caught it on the washing and now I have a hole in it. At the right angle you can actually look through my nail and see whatever is beyond it (the window, sofa etc) Means I'm going to have to dig out the rubber gloves to wash up so I don't get anything wedged down there. Its healing nicely except its as brittle as anything and keeps peeling/snapping. I wish it would grow out a bit faster :(
    TMI finished

    Right, stairs!
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Bossy thanks for the stars :o – I seem to have a veritable constellation! :D My Challenge is, I think, going to be lifelong; having had it dinned into me by my mother that I'd always be ugly, and never amount to anything, (“neither use nor ornament” was one of her favourites) coupled with the awful, awful things my father did *shudders*, I find looking after myself in terms of “pampering” extremely difficult, so I'm so glad of the encouragement. :o I've put on my agate necklace, changed my earrings (usually the same ones stay in for months on end) and got Mr LW to trim the split ends off my hair today. See, I am trying.:D

Wit Woo! (that was a wolf-whistle :rotfl:)

    I am working at home today but during my break I have done a toots list item and eaten 2 frogs;
I took my bedroom curtain rail down to refit the brackets. The wall plugs were sliding out and my rail was all wonky. I've stuck them back in with some "n0 more nails" :p
I've also called TCs to tell them about a change in childcare costs (omg that was stressfull, she did it in a completely different way to all the others I've done) and lastly called my tv/broadband supplier to tell them I don't want to pay over the odds any more :D anyhow they offered me a discount plus a new box that records and a new hub for faster broadband (free installs!) so getting more for less, which is always nice!

Cold here today. Brrr. Going to make another cuppa.

Ok I'm in! I'm very new to how this thread works. I have read the front page but I'm still not ENTIRELY sure how it works. Do we do different challenges for each room each day?
I'm going to stick the bathmats on to wash and clean in there anyway :)
Then hopefully that's my Monday target done. :)
Good to be here, help me to organise myself! :-D
    Don't turn a slip up into a give up:D

welcome suzitiger, yes if you chack the first post each day a new list of challenges for the next room will appear.
you just do whats applicable to you or even work off your own list if thats what floats your boat.
i tend to quote the new list each day so i can refer back to it and cross off the jobs ive tackled. that way i feel like ive do something. i havent actually managed to cross much off today as im faffing.
you'll soon get the hang of it.

  • Oh dear. Do I really have to face the mess in the study? Just finished a busy day at work and I do not feel like starting to declutter the mess around the computer.

Anyhow, I will take the dog for a walk and make a start!

Cleaned the loo, washed the bathroom window, decluttered the windowsill, hoovered the floor and cleaned the sink and bath. Thank you Flyladies - you have helped my house come back to life once more!!!

ive just tidied the cupboard under the stairs and thrown a load of rubbish away a few bits were worth putting in the Cs box.

Almost got scouts paperwork done, just need to write a cheque out now.

had a quick HHC in the bathroom while i was upstairs, its not looking too bad.

need also to prep tea so we can be eating and watch a prison break while DS2 is at scouts - im getting a bit fed up with it now but we are on the last series and its one of those we've started so well finish things
