Morning all :hello:
Ever get the feeling that everything is going to go wrong today? No basis for it, but I feel like I am walking around with a black cloud over my head. Need to try and shake it off.
Gave the LR a right good going over yesterday, along with the bathroom. I also lifted the smelly bathroom carpet :j and pulled up the gripper rods as we are due to have the new vinyl floor fitted todayIt will be so nice to have flooring I can CLEAN in there.
Today I need to tidy the boys' room a bit, sort out our bedroom and clean some windows. I also need to rummage in the freezer for dinner as the pulled pork joint I cooked last night is as hard as a brickDS1 has the dentist after school, then DS2's parents evening, then we have to go and see FIL to decide which photos from our wedding we want printed for the album. Doubt we'll be home before 7, maybe something I can whack in the SC is the way forward.
Starting in earnest with a HHC at 10 if anyone wants to join in the fun?0 -
Morning all
My head hurts this morning as I slipped on the bathroom floor last night and fell onto the edge of the wall cabinet. Scary how much blood!! I now have a corner-shaped bloody mark and a big lump above my right eye. I think I will have to make up a story of some sort of frantic s*xual encounter as a house-work related injury just isn't cool
I meant to say yesterday I'm so pleased to hear Mr GI has a temp job; as someone who has been long-term out of work in the past I know how soul-destroying the experience can be. Onwards & upwards!!
Love, hugs, sticks, spoons and motivational kicks up the backside as required xx

Morning all,
Fizz I'm sure you can make that cloud go away with something positive, find something that makes you smile even if it's little and I hope it helps.
Ouch Bonnie that sounds painfultake care of yourself today.
Nice bright day up here but still looking grey in the cloud department so not expecting much. At the desk job all day then have a meeting for the evening job tonight. Two hour gap in between so will try flying and other bits there.

Sounds like chez Honey Bear to a T - and I certainly wasn't offended. (I may be wrong about this, but I think the fact that Bossy added a :rotfl: after her  might have meant that she agreed too.)
Another trip to the sympathetic vet for more painkillers for Mrs Dog, on the proviso that she will go for an exam next time, rather than a repeat prescription. My usual vet is on holiday, so the locum's kindness was much appreciated, not least by Mrs Dog. I don't know how I'm going to get her to co-operate if she has to be prodded and poked
LW - how are the mouth ulcers healing?Better is good enough.0 -
