  • Evening folks. Well day 5 for me. Bit narky again today :rotfl: was called wee crabby in the corner in work today. Told them to pi55 off :o. They were laughing as normally I am far from moany so this afternoon I was given a set of headphones for my phone and I gave an impromptu version of Madonna's 'like a virgin' for the floor . I was asked if I owned the pointy bra. My answer- 'only when it's cold darling' That shut him up :rotfl:.

YOLO is a fab expression and I have used it on a few occasions. Usually when the cider and I have gotten too friendly!! My DD likes to live it too INOD but she is thankfully limited by cashflow. She's off to the Hydro tonight to see McBusted. Wee freebie as her friend's Aunt works there.

So tonight I was meant to go and help my friend with stripping walls and decorating but I am burst. Totally shattered and a heavy weekend in front of me. So I have been a rubbish pal and cried off. I'll go on Monday and help out if I am needed.I dropped DS off there and came home .

Got 3 loads of washing line dried today. Isn't it just fab when we can start doing that again. Going to check tomorrow weather and get some more done if it is to be nice.

I at last have time to do a wee catch up whilst I wait on masterchef final xx

Another NST day survived although DH was eating brownies - I just didn't care that I couldnt have one.

I have weighed myself and lost 2lb - not sure if this is the lack of chocolate or the lack of gluten.

Well done everyone who is on our challenge!!
  • When I was a teenager, my friend's dad used to get us free gig tickets. It inspired a costly love of live performances in me!

Still on the NST wagon here too :D

Love the YOLO expression, surprised my teen DS hasn't picked that up, there's still time though!

Enjoyed the Masterchef final, though wasn't much there that I thought was yummy, mind you, hadn't even heard of half of the ingredients :rotfl:

Yay to glorious sunshine and drying on the line. And sitting out in the garden and *thinking* I must cut the grass. Doing is another matter entirely :rotfl:

    Have a great day. :)
