    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18
  • I thought Jack as well. Ping's food was a bit too brown for my liking.

Am still on NST here too although I did have a sundae from McD's just there but still no sweets, chocolate, cakes or biscuits so I am very happy with that :D

Chucking it down with rain here today and I am off out to the sailing club for a beer festival  Best take a brolly methinks.

Was cleaning this morning and got 2 bags of groceries from the house that the guests had left :D. 2pkts hash browns, pkt frozen sprouts, pack of frozen sausages, oil, peanut buttter, gravy, tins toms and peas, can't remember what else but there was loads.

So £32.50 earned but spent £15 on McD's as DD begged fro one as she has a hangover *rolleyes* and I also spent £30 on petrol. I'll no doubt spend a fair whack this afternoon and then I have money to put in 2 cards tomorrow at a first communion. I'll never be rich :(. But hey ho I have a great social life.

So am away to get ready as need to be at my friends for a lift by 2.45

Great news on the extra groceries you have acquired - what a great perk to the job:T

    I am reporting a failure today:mad:

We went to Asda for groceries and everyone got chocolate and when DH asked me what i was having I said I wasn't as I was doing NST. Then we went to see FIL who has a little ritual for us to all have a drink and a chocolate bar, DD offered me one, I checked the ingredients for gluten and then ate it:eek:. It wasn't until I had finished that I remembered the NST:mad:

It's funny how my mind was on auto-pilot. I was disappointed but DH said it was fine and if I didn't want chocolate in the week then I could just have it once a week from FIL:rotfl:. He didn't seem to understand our challenge and that it is for 2 weeks with no treats although his plan could work long term - hmm something to think about.

Hope the beer festival went well and you did not get too wet!
  • Bibbitybob I am rich indeed.

What a great day. Soaked but hey I had scrumpy so who cares :rotfl: Went to beer festival and there was a wee folk band on and OMG I have never seen so many handsome guys in the one place. I'm joining the sailing club ;). We then went for an Indian but I didn't eat the pudding :j. So proud as the puddings were truly stunning. Spent £30 in all but well worth it for a smashing day

EE I am hoping to do this for the 2 weeks and see how it goes. I want to get to the stage where I can take or leave sweet things. If this means that I have a wee treat at the weekend than so be it that's what I will do , so long as the majority of the time I don't bother.

I am so jealous of all the sunshine you guys are getting. It truly is dreich here

Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 12st determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. Progress not perfection.:T100%through my 1% mortgage challenge. 100% through my pb challenge.
  • INOD I am fed up with bouncing rain and wind. Freezing here today. I have the heating on as it was only 18 degrees in house when we got home bbrrrr

Anyway I was in NST hell today this is want was getting passed around at the communion and big bundles being left on every table 2014-05-18141301_zps808c40a1.jpg

I hope you guys are proud of me as I resisted. I had buffet but no cakes or sweets so I am patting my own back.

Lovely wee day with the family. Spent £10.80 on drink and £10 in the card. I took the car so I didn't bother with any booze and I also managed no fizzy juice and stuck to water and soda water and lime. So all is well.

Spent £10.80 in ALDI as we wanted steak pie and roasties for dinner. Bought some ice cream for pudding as I have nice strawberries to go along with it. So I best head off and get the cooker on xx

MiT - that is some amazing willpower you have. Most people would have been like !!!

Well done on keeping the spends low today.

I am reporting in another successful NST.

I had some ice cream 45mins after tea and it gave me an awful pain under my ribs - I reckon it was the sugar overload:rotfl:

:T:T Excellent resistance on those sweets

Can't believe how different the weather is up there :( Think it's all due to change tomorrow or Tuesday, hopefully you'll get some warmth and sunshine soon. Got someone coming to view the car tomorrow tea time, so it can rain all it likes once it is sold and then I won't miss it. :rotfl:

Well done on the Ald! shop, that's my kind of spending amount. :D

Strawberries sound lush...love them, can't wait to go PYO and eat a few freebies on the way round. :rotfl: Is that MSE or theft though :o
