I am impressed by your budgeting skills as always. I know this wasn't an easy lesson to learn, but you learnt it really well! You are very focused and I think that you are doing splendidly. Go you!!! :T:T:T:T0

Thanks Joy, it was a hard lesson to learn but it sank in and is now a good habit I've learnt for the better. I really enjoy budgeting and planning now more than most other things!
A good day today, might have broken my no clothes spend at long last on a skirt for summer - its a little big around the waist so I'm still deciding before declaring a spend, haven't decided yet whether to keep it or not. Will see.
All ready to go for the week ahead at work, food and easy teas ready. Will get back on with Shred this week after a few days off. That cold was still lingering hence feeling so tired and a quite relaxing weekend overall.
Most jobs all done for this week apart from the ironing which I'll do in the week at some point. Kitchen nearly cleaned at long last - finished off the final cupboard until I remember the cupboard under the sink needs doing still so I'll do that one next weekend and they are all finished and cleared out and cleaned at last.
2 items sold on eBay this week with some more to finish in a couple of days time. Relisted everything that didn't sell using up a free listing offer and listed 2 more items cleared out of the kitchen cupboard.
Not a no spend weekend after all after ordered my new dog walking shoes after mine fell apart with no warning. Managed a low spend and used up the remaining voucher to pay for most of them.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Oh boy did I feel rough this morning? I almost overslept, always a sign as I usually get up early with no problems. Then struggled to stay awake on the train. Had to go in and lasted a few hours with a throbbing very sore throat and generally very run down. Will be off tomorrow and hope to back up and running like normal soon.
So not been up to much apart from did the ironing left from the weekend which was only a few bits and they're done. Parceled up the eBay sales to post and that's it. At least I was in for the new walking shoes to be delivered which was a surprise. They seem ok as I tried them out on the evening dog walk fingers.
Not much else to report apart from it will be a very early night here, no wonder I felt so tired at the end of last week.

Just had a major catch up. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well - do look after yourself.
You're doing amazingly well and have inspired me to get moving. I really need to get on with eb*ying my stuff although I did sell something last week but the buyer hasn't paid! I also bought a shredder this weekend so will finally get on with weeding my files. It's a very satisfying and therapeutic job. The only problem is my DS is scared of the noise!0 -
Feeling a little like normal today, so I'll be back again work tomorrow all being well.
Thought I'd test the water by walking to the post office to post the eBay parcels while off. Also called in for some postage stuff at the same time while out for the rest of the sales due to finish today as I had almost run out. Used the PayPal money for all of this and postage costs were as expected.
Feel ok now I'm back. Not bouncing with energy yet but ok. Planning another early night tonight, get everything ready for tomorrow morning and off I'll go to work.
What else, called in to see if I could grab any more of those 30p body lotion bargains from the other week, and guess what? They were on the shelf so I grabbed 7 making it £2.10 in total. Have enough body lotion for the year ahead for me and also 4 more for presents down to 75p from £3.32 which are mum's favourite brand. Even the shop assistant wanted to run off and grab some for herself! Either £1.50 or £3 out of present budget for these 4.
Rang the tax office this morning and all is ok and upro date with the tax codes and jobs. Also enquired about the outdoor jacket recycling scheme for the holiday and all ready to go there.
Might do a bit of study this afternoon for a couple of hours to feel a bit productive, hmmm will see.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Just researched some holiday meal ideas and snacks. On the count down now with just a week and a half to go! Really really really looking forward to a proper break away for the first time in a long time.
Did rewrite some work this afternoon, hoping to finalise that up tomorrow then get that sent off for comments and tackle the last section at the weekend to aim to get it more or less done by the end of next week.
2 more sales today on eBay, on small amounts this week but it all adds up.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Woke up at usual to time to go to work and certainly didn't feel that great and decided to stay off another day. Will be going back as normal tomorrow regardless as have to go to old job too.Going to be a busy day.
Cant say I feel that great today overall and chest and throat are still quite wheezy and sore feeling but hopefully its on its way out now. Better had be!
Had a browse on some shopping websites to pass the time, just about managed to stay strong, but only just as it tuned out. No orders made thankfully.
Did get another admin job ticked off the list and ordered the EHIC card at long last in case I get away abroad this year which I might well do after a prompt from the MSE email - it will go into my travel wallet to keep everything all together ready.
Nothing planned for today apart from a couple of hours of uni work as I'm at home and will be a NSD and a no clothes spend day toofinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Sent off a section rewritten for some comments. Goodness knows what will come back. Anyway either way one down, 2 to go.
Will gave a go at another section this afternoon to get that underway and hopefully finished by the time I go away. I won't mind coming back to finish the final section off as I'll have 2 weeks to complete it in.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Just received some good news. CPP have refunded via Santander on an old store card protection policy. No big numbers there but always good to get a complaint upheld. Especially as the bank charges complaint was not upheld by the ombudsman as I am managing my finances well these days.
This leaves one complaint being investigated by the ombudsman which still has 12 months left on the investigation.
Complaints made 7
Upheld and redressed 3
Not upheld 3
Outstanding investigation 1
Not a bad result there of 50% success on the biggest complaints for PPI. Plus a year who I don't think I would have believed it would have been possible for me to complain and win. In fact it's all been a very good result that has helped me out more than I could have ever imagined. All for the price of a couple of stamps and some phone calls. Well worth it!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Did more rearranging on the uni work which leaves the final section to be completely rewritten, eek! Still more work to be done on the middle section and hoping to do this at the weekend and get it completed.
Work stuff ready to go for tomorrow and posted the redress form back while out with the dog. Then made myself do Shred. Hard going today but it's done all the same.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
