Plenty of congrats about me passing the course. I'm still smiling about it when I remember!

A lovely relaxing Easter break pottering about getting little jobs done. A couple of sales of items on eBay with another £85 paid of the loan overpayment plan. All going well there as getting close to an extra £1000 over paid now which is very good indeed. Determination to do it is working well.

One more day of 30 day shred to do and it's finished. I've hardly rattled through it this time around. Not to worry, got there in the end!

  • A good day yesterday, uni course completed and passed. It's been a right old journey over the last 4 years to get here but worth every step when I think about how far I've come in that time, a long way indeed.

Looking forward to life without study in it, for now. My overwhelming feeling about this was the thought it's over, at last!

Mind you who knows what the future will bring and I'm sure this is just a break!

It's going to take some getting used to having spare time again, nice though!

Enjoy it you've worked so hard.

Eventually the spare time bit gets more normal

    End of month round up

NSD - will be 26/25 as tomorrow will be one and 1 over target!
Petrol and train costs - £97.68/£120 under
    Food - £119.59/£100 over
    Social spends - £32.85/£35
    Clothes - £0

Overall pleased with being on track and managing to squeeze some social spends out of a tight budget across the month.
Budgets all updated as usual and all on track.

Another sale on eBay making a nice amount to pay to the loan, getting close to £1000 overpaid so far which is very good over 4 months.

Ripped in 30 started once again today after a break of over a year, well, can't let all that Shredding go to waste now I've completed that!

Right then, repaid a further £175 to the mahoosive loan today. When I've repaid an extra £1000 I'll get another balance to see what it is before the large repayments are made later this year.

Really pleased, managed a very low spend of £3.20 on a leaving do last night on 2 drinks and parking. Pleased because I have only a few pennies left after all payments have been made and savings and there was no way I wanted to pay £12 for a burger!

Today I completed all my jobs on my list including more listing on eBay, 31 items on there now. Sorted out an unused corner of the room of doom spare room and discovered long forgotten papers and books. Another one who will not be buying any more book until I've read the ones I've got!

Sorted out old text books to sell too. All funds going to the loan overpayment plan.

Talking of which I keep trotting up all the spends and hoping I can do it by the end of next year at the latest, who knows?

Drafted another PPI letter ready to do this week, sorted all paperwork out which means it's all upto date now and some for shredding, rest filed or recycled. Also totted up all my change pots ready to pay into the bank. Totals coming along nicely now, keeping going though while I decide what to spend it on, no rush to spend, another 6 months at least to go on this savings plan!

Ripped in 30 done at last after 2 long dog walks today. Planning the same tomorrow too.

A couple more NSDs to add to the total, and of course no clothing depends to report as no pennies to spend as usual!

the £2 coins really soon add up
I saved £210 in them for my sons 21st birthday last month
I had already done that for my daughters, and I also saved up £180 each for their 18th birthday
Makes a really good heavy present :rotfl:
