Leaving do on Friday was a very pleasant night out and came in extremely cheaply which was a surprise.
No pennies spent on Sat and we went out for tea for a treat for me!
Feeling a little apprehensive about starting the new job tomorrow. Still, everyone has a first day in a new job then it all settles down again.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
First day at work went well. Nicely organised and friendly. Looks like I'll be very busy, but thats ok as I prefer to be.
An easy NSD today making it up to NSD 19. Think this will be easy to maintain as there are no shops close by to tempt me in the week!
Hoping the rest of the week goes well, a few things to sort out tomorrow then it's onto sorting the jobs out to do and getting on with them.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Second day went well, worked through the training programmes for new starters, paperwork sort out and tomorrow tidy up the loose ends from starting then it's time to start on the new tasks.
Another NSD today making it number 20.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I've changed my mind about getting the room renovated, something made me think this over after the quote yesterday evening for the rest of the work. I've decided to wait until later in the year to make sure I have some contingency money as its squeezingly tight and I'm not certain I'm having the right job done. I'll wait until I can find someone else to talk through the job first then decide.
Apart from that, feeling quite tired today, new job catching up with me today. Mind you easy to collect NSD this week due to work hours, travel time and location.
NSD 21 and clothes no spend day 22final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Firstly another no spend day making it no. 22 and no clothes spend day 23.
Cancelled the renovation work after thinking it all over, it was the right decision as I felt I was being pushed into something I didn't want opposed to what I did want doing. I'll wait until I find someone who will do it, or at least until we can have a proper discussion about what can be done. In the mean time I'll continue to save up. Sadly cancelled the carpets and waiting to see if the windows can be cancelled. If not I'll have them fitted anyway as they need doing. Will find out next week.
That is the right decision for now as I felt I was rushing into it too quickly and it's not the right time for this to get done right now. I'll wait until the new job settles down into a more settled routine and I have more of a budget and someone booked in to do the job.
Food shop and car filled up after work, out of budgets, bedding washed and changed.
Definitely feel the new job catching up with me today, an information day tomorrow with a later start which is nice!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
A quick catch up tonight....
The new job is going well so far, although the evening fly by now my hours have changed and I'm trying to squeeze everything in to do before the weekend arrives.
Last weekend was great as usual and flew by also as usual!
Final payday from old job and the taxman took 3/4 of my holiday pay sadly but still sent the remaining amount to repay some of the car debt.
Half the budgeting done this evening, ironing all done, eBay listing put on and eBay fees paid out of eBay payment.
Better go now!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
