Another difficult afternoon at the old job once again exactly one week later than last week. What on earth is going on? I haven't had a time like this at any other point in so many years. Very tiring and especially for the other staff too.

Hey ho, only a morning to go and it's done for another week.

Found out I have another interview on Tuesday meaning I'd better do some swotting up for it tomorrow. I'd better take some learning from yesterday's experience afterall.

Well that was a tremendous surprise. They only went and offered me a post after the interview on Wednesday. I certainly didn't expect that after how it went but it appears they liked my experience. I'm still weighing it up as the travel is a long way but I think it's going to be worth it for a year to get some good experience and then see what that leads onto in the future.

Had a chat with mum who told me she would take it if she was in my position.

I've got the weekend to think things over some more.

Housework almost finished for the weekend, always good and looking forward to the weekend!

Overall it's been a good week with a job offer meaning I can leave my old job which is what I really want and get one full time job in the area I want, exercise all done for this week and getting the new balance on the long term loan lower than I expected.

Banished fat and boosted metabolism today, getting there one more.

I made the decision to accept the post after a long think over the weekend. It feels like the right decision for me and certainly my colleagues agree too.

Only a few weeks left in my old job once I tell them this week with annual leave etc and I reckon they'll pay me off any remaining leave as I'm booked up solid until after I leave.

A lovely weekend and we made it out for a long walk in the peaks and got soaked in rain all day, a good day though. The weekend always flys by quickly.

Another round of shred with weights today. Might have another go tomorrow if I feel like it.

Happy I have a new job to look forward to and I've reached one of my goals of leaving my old career and changing it for a new one. The last 2 years of hard work to get to this point have paid off.

As for today I finally got around to contacting Amazon to refund the Prime membership I discovered I had about 18mths ago and cancelled it straight away. They have agreed to refund it, to my account, not my bank account. I've been back in touch to see if we can arrange to do this. Either way excellent customer service as they agreed straight away and contacted me very quickly. Another job ticked off the list of things to do and an excellent outcome.

Felt so tired today and like I was starting with a cold I cme home to work from home, better get on with some work then!

And then I get an invite to interview for a job I really wanted and thought I'd been screened out after not hearing anything for 3 week. Hmmm better think it over whether to go. I've got until Monday to decide and it's in a weeks time. Typical I think nothing's happening then get 2 big surprises in 2 weeks. Mind you, there's no guarentvill get it but it's worth a try.

Plus the other interview I was going to decline got cancelled until next week and I declibed it, then they wanted to speak to me and as I went to meet then I think I would have got it as it matched my experience. Not sure how we would have got in in working together so I decided to stick to my decision and turned it down. To think I felt so despondent over the few last weeks about jobs. Turned out there was no need. Just needed to stay strong and believe it will turn out ok. Good job I did believe that and stuck to it.

Shred with weights done again and another round tomorrow then a couple of days off planned.

Shred with weights done this morning first thing, worked from home and caught up with things. Then off to my old job to tell them about my new job and got the official offer for the new one which was good.

Lots of good wishes from my colleagues which was rather lovely.

Told the remaining colleagues yesterday about my new job and received more good wishes, plan worked out how to leave old job tidily and I'll take my remaining leave or get paid for it which I prefer as I'm off shortly for a holiday and will have leave to take in my other job unless they offer to pay me as an alternative. I'll ask as I'm handing my notice in next week.

A lovely evening yesterday, flew by as always!

Off to visit mum today as I may be working tomorrow and looking for a new car too, eek! Must remember to stay on budget as I plan. I'll have to take a loan out but my plan is to keep it low to enable me to pay it off earlier by overpaying additional payments.

Yesterday was NSD 13 and no clothes spend day 13. Let's see what today brings!

Almost forgot, I noticed the reclaiming notice for reclaiming more useless identity insurance which I was also persuaded heavily to take out when all I wanted to do was find out my credit rating when I first started addressing my finances and repaying my debt.

Will make a note to look in more detail about this next week.

A lovely day with mum who treated me to a new pair of summer shorts, a sale jumper and a t-shirt. Bless her for being so treaty.

A long talk about the new job and whether to go to the other interview. Still undecided but I think I'll stick to my decision now for the job offer.

Off to look at a car tomorrow which looks ok and I'll check what it looks like in real life while seeing others. Worked out if I haggle the price down I could fit it on a 0% CC opposed to a 18.9% loan which is the interest rate for the amount I'm aiming for.

I'll work it out once we're back from holidays and then go for it!
