Well I made myself do it, another day of ripped in 30 completed. Might give it another go tomorrow if my legs feel up to it!
NSD 5 today after I nearly caved in to some chocolate or treats on the way home, stayed strong and no pennies spent.
Booked myself into a pension advice session through work, too in a couple of weeks time to check it's all in order.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
2 days off ripped in 30 to rest those stiff muscles. Might give it a go tomorrow, have a busy afternoon after work of haircut, cleaning, exercise, dog walk and general tidy up. Glad there's only the morning to go at the old job before the weekend.
Another £2 coin in change today, always when I would really like the change when I'm skint!
I've finally taken the plunge to do something I must have thought about doing for many many years but always put it off, signed up and appt booked for next week.
2 more PPI letters sent off today for another go for one to see if that gets a better response, as it should gave done the first time around as it has been mis sold by the company but they won't admit it.
NSD 7 today as stuck to food shop budget. Not tomorrow though as off out for tea!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
A very up and down weekend. Hey ho, I have a feeling more of this to come over the week ahead too.
Onto more happier things now, have made around £50 on eBay this week selling unwanted tat. A very good result this week, a couple of people still left to pay and that is my rough approximation after fees and postage gave been paid. All this means I have reached my target of £1000 overpaid on the loan this year. A long way left to go still but it feels good to have reached this first milestone.
Finished off the first week of ripped n 30 today and 2 long weekend dog walks, at least that's good to get out in the fresh air and also finish that first week off. Onto week 2 tomorrow!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Feeling better today and ironed out one of the 'downs' all being well. A bonus of 7 x £2 coins today in the ticket machine change. Now this is all well and good but how am I to pay for the rest of my travel tickets? I'm so well trained in saving them I can't bring myself to spend them. Good job I can swap a note or 2 for them.
Up to £100 now in £2 coins meaning now 2/3 of the way there until target has been reached. Off to pay all the change into the bank this week then total up from there. A good way to learn to save and an easy way too to get some money saved in a fairly painless way.
Not a NSD today as I bought a coffee today while at work.

eBay parcels posted today, still waiting for 2 buyers to pay. Transferred rest of the money to the loan account which came in at £50 as expected making it £1000 overpaid so far this year.
Relisted the rest of the unsold items on free listing to see how they go this time around. Let's see how they get on!

Some good news today after a long day at work. After I was put on hold for 10mins the other night trying to find out the balance on the loan I'm overpaying on with no answer I sent an email to the company explaining this was not very professional and to send me a balance either by letter or email. I received a call today from the company complaints dept of the parent company offering me £75 compensation as a result of the firm email I sent. Now that's a good result!
Of course it's going straight to the loan to repay some more from the new balance I finally received today. Saved £400 interest on paying £1000 extra over and above the monthly direct debit payment. All going well there.
Onto other things, bought a new toaster today using money out of my household appliance account after my old one kept tripping the entire electrics in the house and I realised it had gone Stuck to budget of £20 and got a new one for £17.50, quite pleased overall and the cheapest I could find it.
Tomorrow I'm off to pay in my coins into the bank and transfer them to my new savings account.

Lots of well done's from me
* well done on passing uni
* well done on completing 30 day shred, that's tough!
* bl**dy well done on all your progress and the nice extra £75 received today.
Those figures you posted about what you've paid back and the absolute right plan about not taking on a consolidation loan, are fantastic.
C xLoan from Mum £500/£300

Coins all paid in and transferred to the savings account. Why is it when I have money saved I don't want to spend it and when I don't have any to spend I want to?
Not much else to report apart from a nice long dog walk under a sunny sky and just about to make a start on some cleaning, boo!

Also another £10 of 20p coins to pay in the bank, all going well there.
What else, day off tomorrow shopping to search for some comfy summer work shoes. Using expenses money for them, a good plan there.
Pension seminar today was very informative and well worth attending. I now have an idea what to do in a few years time once the loan is paid off and other things all saved up for. Depends upon where I'll be working though, if I'm still there it will be well worth starting. Let's see what happens later this year and see if I'm still there.
Having a week off exercise, apart from lots of walking as I'm feeling very very tired. An early night tonight and a great day off tomorrow!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
