Managed a session of ripped in 30 last night, a good job I did after a high kcal lunch today while out on my day off. A good day out and found some summer work shoes at a rather eye wateringly high price. They're comfy so here's hoping they stay that way. I have a lot of walking to do to get to work and back and in the day so here's hoping they are!
A great day out, use expenses money to pay for them, a bit left over, so can count today as a no spend day for clothes at least!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
My old job is seriously boring today, glad there's only a morning left to go this week. At newer job some tentative good news, hoping it will work out over the next few weeks. Let's see.
Back on the NSD track today with NSD 16 and no clothes spend day 22. 5 days till payday, boy it's tight till then!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Thankfully a NSD again today NSD 17 and no clothes spend day 23.
A thought came to mind this afternoon for some strange reason, no idea why it popped into my head. However it did and I acted on it straight away realising it was the right thing to do. I remembered my shopping TV account was still open. I haven't ordered anything for 18 months and have no intention of buying anything from them ever again after all the financial mess I got myself into overspending on that stuff they sell. I happily rang them to close it down for good and it is done!
A good step to take to do that and close that chapter of my life for once and for all.
Couldn't wait for old job to finish this morning despite being busy all morning. Got on with some of the housework this afternoon, always good to get that out of the way and out with dog without getting soaked for a change!
Hoping for a NSD weekend, let's see if it is!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Good luck with the new job and well done for closing the tv account, hope you have a lovely weekend before starting the next chapter.

End of month round up as it's payday after the bank hol and the few spends I've got left are all planned and budgeted for.
Travel spends
£109.91/£120
Food spend so far
£105.64 with under a tenner left and over budget of £100
Social spends
£66.90 with maybe £10 more spending planned.
This covers 2 lots of parking for days out, ice creams on day out, 4 meals out and 4 lots of coffee spends for 2 and one work night out.
The final spends will come in close to £80 and that is a lot for me, it's covered a lot of spends and comes in at £20 per week which is just about bearable. Doesn't come close to my planned budget of £50 per month though when the finances free up some more in a couple of months time. Slightly eye wateringly high for this month. Just managed to stay in credit this month and not go into my overdraft which makes it 7 months in credit and not in overdraft.
Dog spends
On budget for food and vets which is good
Household
£7.68/£10
Beauty
£7.88/£10
Overall not too bad if I can just about squeeze close to the £220 for food and travel budget that'll be good and leaves only the social budget blasted.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
A lovely weekend and 2 more days off for BH.
Jobs all completed for now, Ripped in 30 week 2 completed. Weigh in this morning the lowest for quite a while which is a nice result after all the eating out recently! The high intensity exercise must be paying off. An old work colleague told me she thought I looked like I was losing weight again which I was surprised about due to feeling the after effects of that high fat high kcal meal we had on our day out. A week of eating usual food is in order for the week ahead.
A NSD today and of course a no clothes spend day making it number 25 and NSD 18
Off walking tomorrow all being well with the weather and any spends are planned in advance for parking and coffee so should be another NSD tomorrow too. In fact I can count last Sunday as they were planned spends so I'm on NSD 19!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Firstly NSD 20 today and one more no clothes spend day too.
A great day out walking all day today almost 11 miles on the hills. Discovered quite a bit of sunburn for some reason despite it being very cloudy today, I'm sure the sun was only out for an hour this morning! Hope it goes down overnight and it certainly wasn't there earlier tonight, bizarre.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Morning
I've just caught up with you, well done on all the positives, I can't believe you have saved over £400 on the interest on your loan :ekk: that's truly shocking! I bought a new pair of shoes recently as my last ones died and were causing me hip pains, it was DH that put 2 and 2 together and realised it was only when I was wearing those shoes did I complain of the pain, it was so bad I couldn't walk for hours after. New shoes (that were also expensive!!) and no more pain so it was worth it I think
I am also in awe of you doing the shred and actually finishing it! I usually do 10 days and then give in

Thanks dfw, certainly good to see the loan total coming down with overpayments and in 6 months time when my savings go towards paying it off that should bring the total down a lot more.
A good day today, paid in another bag of 20ps into the bank. Then I think I've found the new bathroom suite, just need to check it'll fit first then I can order it, well worth it for the price.
No exercise today apart from usual walking as quite tired from yesterday and the previous days if ripped in 30. Will see how I feel tomorrow or leave it until Friday.
Back to work tomorrow for a short week, yeah!
