What a test match that was, I've been listening on and off while I can, absolutely amazing! Thank goodness for TMS for those of us that refuse to pay the Murdoch companies.

Well I made myself do ripped in 30 week 3 - 2 down 3 to go!

Not much else to say apart from another NSD and another no clothes spend day

NSD 21 and no clothes spend day 23? Can that be right?

    NSD 22

Took walking shoes back for a refund and soft shell that didn't fit, pennies coming back into my account. Replacement shoes ordered the other day coming in at £25 cheaper for the same pair which should arrive next week.

Ripped in 30 week 3 day 3 today, hard going but will be after a 3 week break. At some stage it will get easier, mind you will it? It's a hard workout so maybe it shouldn't get easier!

All ready to go for long day at work tomorrow then that's it for this week! Off out for the day on Friday which I'm looking forward to, all budgeted for out of the birthday fund to treat my mum, hopefully we'll escape the weather breaking down!

Eek! Just did usual banking checks to discover a standing order Ive set up for a savings accountt had gone out a few days early. I must have clicked the wrong frequency date for some reason. Good job I checked as it took me slightly over drawn.

Sent the money back and amended the SO to the correct dates - phew! Good job I check in with the banks daily to see what's going on there.

Yeah, the working week is over for this week!

Picked up holiday cycle order today, all great and looking forward to wearing on this weekends cycle ride.

Off out with mum tomorrow, hope the rain holds off as it doesn't look too promising. 2 more weeks to go until holiday beckons, can't wait!

Day out shopping with mum yesterday. Bought some summer items for holidays this year and next and the year after.

I bought a holiday/ going out top which was an unusual colour for me but I really like the cut of the tunic. It goes in a the waist and is longer at the back giving it a modern style. It'll go rather nicely with my white cropped skinny jeans and I'll keep a look out for some yellow slim cropped trousers to go with it in the sales. Felt a bit guilty at spending £21 on it though even though it was reduced from £35. It's all these months of spending very little on clothes.

Then tried on some Sketchers trainers and fell in love with how comfy they were straight away. Looked on the website to find they had £15 off online, ordered them to collect in store, not paid for yet as need to try them on and check the fitting. Think they're the same pair from the shop but not sure.

Then ordered some half price sandals as I've been after a new pair for this year. Let's see how these fit when they arrive, the correct size in stick for once so that's a good start!

    Spends so far £45.99 plus trainers £39 = £84.99
Original cost was £139 for all

To ease my guilt about spending I'm going to neutralise the costs from my savings left over from saving up to pay the car insurance in full this year. I've worked out I can pay for all of these with the money left over.

Does this mean I count these spends or not?

Mum bought me a dress in the sales too reduced from £55 to £34 as she said it looked lovely when I tried it on. It's a black prom dress with a multi colour pattern in green, orange, red and white in 100% cotton and cotton lined. That will be good to wear to go out for a meal in or on holiday.

Woke up feeling guilty about spending but certainly better now I've worked out I can use the money left over from saving on the car insurance.

Car insurance quotes coming in with large variations. 2 to seriously consider and coming in £130-£100 less than last year. All good there.

Worked for a bit this morning, feeling very tired for no reason. Anyway usual routine this afternoon of cleaning, tidying up and hopefully some energy boosting exercise later.

Certainly felt better after some fresh air taking the dog for a walk this afternoon then made myself do ripped in 30 week 3 day 4 and felt much better for it afterwards. Some improvements today too meaning I'm getting there slowly.

Decided to cook tomorrow's tea which is dhal then pop some more veg in it tomorrow and coriander and all ready to go to portion up for some easy tea's along with rice and salad or naan bread.

Face mask and exfoliate all done and used up the last of this tube of face mask meaning £1 can go into the pot.

Tomorrow is finish of the last of the cleaning, not much left to do as did most this afternoon, hopefully get some garden tidying up if the weather improves from today, a bike ride, maybe work for an hour and the usual dog walks along with a walk up to town too.

NSD 25 today as food shop done out of that budget.

Feeling much better today, the weather was better today and the sun popped out for a look this afternoon.

All housework finished for this week - yeah! All washing done for this week too and the ironing.

Today made time for a walk up to town to search out some summer clothes bargains - none to be found. Still picked up some half price suntan lotion ready for holiday and used points to pay for it, pleased there.

then went out on my bike this afternoon on my training route of 3 big hills. 3rd time I've done this route recently and it's certainly getting better which was a surprise. Really enjoying getting out on my bike on a weekend.

Feeling a lot better today now after feeling quite fed up yesterday - must have been the hay fever hangover after how high the pollen levels were.

Back to work tomorrow and all ready to go.

NSD 26 - points paid for spends and no clothes bought either.

NSD 27 today for the end of the month round up.

Nice long dog walk after work in the warmth after the miserable weekend. Then finished off the last bit of the first section of the garden clearance.

Not much else to report apart from all banking budgeting all done and updated. Cheque paid into holiday account and showing cleared so all on track with the holiday spends budget. I've almost reached the amount I aimed for 3 months ago and now the SO is set up it will be on track for the rest of the year ti make sure I have some holiday spending money in the bank readily saved. That was well worth doing and shows me that budgeting works well here too for me along with all my other budgets all set up for every other aspect of spending.

A good week last week more £2 pound coins for my collection gathered in change from the train journey.

Treated to a meal out, a great weekend watching TDF Grand Depart tour Yorkshire. I would have loved to see it live, but the views on the TV were great of all the crowds, climbs and riders.

Enjoyed my bike ride this afternoon, cleared another section of the garden, washing dried outside and things ready for work.
