hi dfw, decided on store cupboard risotto for today's tea using up preserved asparagus in oil that needs using up sharpish.

Had a good day today, met my beautiful mate for a coffee and he treated me to one today. A good old chat as usual, walk around the shops and errands run getting next week's train tickets for work and finishing off the food shop.

It was nice and windy today and the bedding dried outside for the first time in ages, yeah! Half the cleaning done with the rest to finish off tomorrow along with plenty of batch cooking and Shred level 2 to start.

Usual boring Sat night planned here of cleaning that kitchen cupboard out - last really big one to do tonight then its on the downhill over the next few weeks.

Watched an episode of The Bridge on catch up, really grippingly interesting drama and looking forward to the rest. Aiming to watch a couple in the week and one tomorrow before they expire.

Tomorrow I'll finish the jobs off, pamper of course, exercise and cook and I think that is about it!

Kitchen butcher's block trolley sparkly cleaned tonight instead of large cupboard. Good job I did it too, needed it!

Flapjacks made and an oven baked risotto with plenty of leftovers for very easy teas in the week. Casserole tomorrow and it'll be just reheating for the rest of the week which is no bad thing when it's a busy after work week fitting exercise in which I'm determined to do.

NSD 7 and no clothes spend day 8 today.

All jobs on the lis above all done apart from paperwork filing which can wit until another day!

Lovely tea this evening of beef casserole and cobbler followed by pear crumble and ice cream, yum!

Did Shred level 2 day 1, more intense than L1 of course, I had completely forgotten every exercise on this level. Still, should be better at it after 10 more times!

All ready to go for the week ahead and let's see how my legs are in the morning after all those lunges and squats.

Really enjoying the Winter Olympics today, caught the start of slop style yesterday morning and boy was that good, of course had to watch it today too.

Work ok today and going well overall. Feeling much more settled in there now which is really good.

NSD today easily obtained - NSD 9 and no clothes spend day 10.

Made myself do Shred day 2 level 2 which was very hard going today. Feel a little chesty and sniffly and might be fighting off one of the those colds again which is doing the rounds. Feel ok though which is the best thing!

Feeling rough with cold and quite hormonal so it's an early night for me and hope tomorrow is a better day all round!

Car tax bought today out of car savings budget and also booked in to see why the warning light is on with the mechanic on Friday for a check up

Feeling better this afternoon which I'm hoping continued. Not up to much though as I ran up the steps to avoid the sleet and oh boy could I feel it in my chest, sore and wheezy. Better lay off the exercise until I feel back to normal I think, apart from the usual walking places and dog walks.

Aside from work, posted eBay parcels with on more to do tomorrow, mist of food shop, only a couple of things left to get.

Car going to see mechanic tomorrow to fix that warning light problem then back home to watch the Olympics and have a rest. Might do some cleaning, early walk with the dog while it's light and hopefully dry!

Just read this week's MSE email and did the credit car eligibility checker out of curiosity, not to get a new card. Discovered that I know have a 90% chance of acceptance for the longest 0% APR cards opposed to previously which was no chance apart from the poor credit score cards.

Not tempted to get one as don't need one but a nice feeling that my credit score must have improved dramatically after paying off those pesky credit cards.

That's made me smile, just what I wanted and I think it's happened! Makes it worth not buying any clothes for almost 10 months and overpaying on that massive loan. Well money is tight now but it is well worth it in the end to improve my credit score. That's such a long held wish of mine and I've done it!
