eBay sales continue to roll in nicely. Door curtain went for almost as much as what paid for it originally, not bad after several years use. Other sale collected tonight as planned with one more tomorrow to be collected.
Also had a phone call about the trees being cut back, starting tomorrow for 2 days. Another job ticked off the list once that particular job is done.
Nice outfit sorted for tomorrow as I'm in the car, not walking and train, freedom skirt day, one more not worn for ages to be worn tomorrow. Late work night too which I'm not looking forward to particularly, here's hoping it's a quiet one.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Trees have been cut back, hoping it looks better once I see it in daylight. It's never quite what I expect, certainly looks better in the dark as much as I can tell.
eBay sale posted 42g cost an extra £6. Getting steep postage costs on these big items, thankfully nearly all gone. Food shop done today with only a few bits left I think.
Slightly awkward chat with super cute guy today, on my part, not his! Typical how I feel awkward for no reason at all. Typical, although I'm hoping I imagined the awkwardness in my mind.
Then back to old job which went well this afternoon which was a nice surprise for me and a good chat with my manager about how things are going - well!
Half day tomorrow then off to mums for the weekend for her birthday which will be lovely. Looks like tomorrow will be full of cleaning and exercise after work but that's ok to get it out of the way early for once.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Good evening one and all. A busy day here today of getting all the cleaning done this afternoon, apart from the floor mop as it's way too cold and wet for that job today.
Then long walk with mr dog once the rain finally eased off late afternoon and Shred done day 7, still middling away on that.
Busy at work this morning for a change and I forgot completely about getting weighed. Well tired this morning after late work night and it completely slipped my mind! Never mind I'm sure it's stayed the same as last week.
Onto different things, have been told I look really well by 4 different people over the last 2 days. A little bizarre but welcome, plus I do feel well even with a teeny cold being successfully fought off.
Off to mums tomorrow after meeting friend in the morning for a coffee and getting my boots reheeled then staying over for her birthday meal out on Sun.
Tonight I just have wrap her pressies, dye my hair and that's it. Loaf is onto bake overnight for the morning. Washing attempting to dry inside, not great but the weather has been rubbish this week.
Oh yes, garden is a disaster zone after the tree cut back yesterday, will have to wait until next weekend to clear that up if it's fine. Garden is lighter now and branches are no longer creeping towards my windows and roof.
Dutifully paid the gas and elec monthly payment after submitting meter readings, high this month. Hey ho. Budgets still to do for this month at done stage. Reached NSD 30 for this month which is a good result, food budget just scraped in under and transport over. A rather amazing 9 whole months with no spending on clothes, quite unbelievable I could do this a year ago. Believe it and it will happen that's for sure.
Finally, feeling very smiley the last couple of days, like I used to feel. Now that's got to be a good thing. Proper big smiley smiles from the heart. Great!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Up early this morning wide awake - just about to take the dog out when it gets a bit lighter.
Budgets all updated - savings accounts all updated dutifully for everything. Added up what's left and what is left to pay by DD - so far so good with a slightly bigger buffer than last month. Have had to forgo to extra council tax payment this month to account for the £60 less in pay while hours settle down. That's ok though, other extra loan payments have gone through and total overpaid is up to £467 extra paid on 2 months. Better than the no overpayments for the previous 6 years before.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Jobs done for today
Swept up loads of dirt and sawdust left behind from the trees being cut back. Lots of it, still more to do next week.
Floors swept and mopped just drying now. Bedding half dried outside in the wind today before the rain arrived.
Boots reheeled for work, naughty perfume bought on offer I couldn't resist today in the high street chemist, only went in for a look and spotted it, just couldn't resist a treat. That'll be the last treat for a while apart from a meal out. Met friend for coffe, my turn this time. All being a spend day today.
Off to mums soon for the night for a birthday meal out.final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Forgot to mention relisted loads on eBay yesterday, leaving a few more to check the postage first after all the miscalculation recently. They might have to wait until next time by the time they are checked.
Today's spends will come out of birthday budget meaning I should be able to claim today as a NSD. Will confirm later.
Have decided about a couple of things. Firstly which room to start decorating first. After not being able to make my mind up I went back to my original list of priorities and decided on the bathroom. Aiming for April time to start. Glad I've made my mind up and I can start arranging some quotes to set a budget and costs.
Then tomorrow it's back to work and see if super cute gorgeous guy is in and what he has to say for himself or not. I'm doubting my perception of vibes now, I can't see that I'm so wrong, as that would be very unusual but hey who knows. Whatever the case it's good to have someone to talk to about stuff along with everyone else in the office. See, I'm sure now I've got it wrong and imagined it all. Lets not see how it goes.
Off out with mum this morning then lunch then much later home, flapjacks to quickly make, get work stuff ready, nails to sort out tidily and that's about it! Have to see if I get chance to do Shred later. Need to do it 3 times this week and get level 1 completed. Also must remember to get weighed this week, really strange I forgot. Maybe it's not the priority it once was as I'm confident with how I'm maintaining my weight after a year.
I forgot to mention, I fixed the kitchen cupboard yesterday! I did it, it's screwed back in place correctly, check me out!
Finally need to meal plan for next week and see what delights I can drag out of the depths of the freezer!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Back home now after a relaxing day at home with mum and family. Lovely to go out for a meal together although the food was very disappointing.
Mum also treated me to some new needed items to replace Christmas presents that didn't fit which was very kind of her indeed. I am the proud owner of a new work bag much needed socks and so on. We got them at good prices though as usual!
Work outfit and stuff all ready to go for tomorrow. Didn't get round to making the flapjacks, not to worry might do them tomorrow if I have a super hungry day. Looks like a busy week this week at work which is fine by me as I'll be out and about quite a lot this week.
As spends today came out of birthday budget, I can claim today as NSD 1final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Relisted all remaining items on eBay after adjusting postage costs. One item has a bid on, good start!
Nails painted ready for the week ahead. Washing on to hang out first thing and hopefully get dry. Just need to remember to put a loaf on to bake while I'm at work, if I remember that is!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Check me out, I did it!
Nails painted last night in a lovely shade of pale beige/pink.
Washing hung out first thing this morning before work and dried in the breeze while at work, yeah!
Loaf onto bake while at work all done now.
Shred done - a bit half hearted to begin with then picked up towards the end, day 8 completed which means I can finish Level 1 this week - at last!
Good day at work today with things coming together a bit more, it's a busy week this week.
Onto other matters more money related - a long standing relished item on eBay finally has a bid on and a NSD today of course, making it NSD 2 and no clothes spend day 3.
Banking checks done and its going to be tight as usual however most of the DD, savings and bills are paid for by tomorrow, leaving 3 more so should be able to remain in credit once more. Had a good chat with my brother yesterday about how it was all going and he told me I was doing well with it all and changing my thinking. I know its going well but it's nice to be told that too and especially to remain in credit at the end of Jan and be overpaying on the loan. Onwards and upwards I go with it all!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
