PM - hugs, I hope the bleeding stops soon for you and that you got through today ok.
tea - yummy for the carvery!! But hugs for the waiting around, it's the worst part of all this, the months just floating by with no hunt of progression or success.
Sewit - I know how that feels! Good luck x
Hi to the newbies.
AFM:
Just waiting on the appointment next Tuesday, googling all the time on options given when clomid doesn't work.
CD 27 today and I've been getting really sharp pains in both ovaries, this happened every month I don't ovulate properly which is almost every month. It really hurts :-(
Don't know whether that's normal with PCOS of if it's something I should mention at the hospital?
This week is dragging....0 -

PM - Hope today went as well as it could under the circumstances :A
So .... going for my day 21 bloods (on my cd19 lol - how confusing!?) tomorrow morning. After nearly 3 years of trying should I be feeling so worried? I feel like I should be excited but I am dreading it  They are also checking for defficiency/thyroid etc as i have been losing a lot of hair recently and not sure why - Dont wanna be baby-less AND bald!:( So quite a lot hinges on this one blood test - not sure how long i will be waiting for the results either as gp didn't really tell me anything
:(:(
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -

Just popping in to say try not to worry too much, I had mine done on day 40 odd and it came back ok, but they told me there was an abnormal result - well the receptionist did, when I went into see the gp (results took about 3 days but had to wait another week to see dr!) it turned out it was just high folate from th folic acid I'd been taking!! So from my experience book a follow up appt with the gp and try to resist calling up for the results beforehand incase you get a receptionist like mine. She said it was something to do with blood but couldn't say exactly what until I pressed for more detail but I still wasn't sure & until I then got the idea it was something to do with iron or folate I was imagining I had leukemia or something!0 -
Bigmomma, I know it's scary but its best to know if there is a problem so that it can be fixed and you're not trying for months for no reason.
My DH is a nightmare. Got home from work and he said "Your doctor has to refer us to the fertility clinic."
Me: "He did".
DH: "No, he has to refer us as a couple".
Me: "Yes. He did that already."
DH: "No, your doctor has to refer me too".
Me: "Do you ever listen to me?"..explains in small words of 2 syllables or less that my doctor referred us after my day 21 bloods.
DH: So why don't we have an appointment? And why did I have to do sperm tests.
Seriously. I showed him the letter and questionnaire when it arrived and he told me to fill his part in for him.
Also I got splashed by oil when I was making dinner in the webby bit between my ring finger and pinky and it hurtsEu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
