No it was a little bear charm type thing, was many years ago though clearly didn't work.0 -
Hi all,
I am new to this thread, but whilst I saw it was a new thread and only 2 pages in, I thought I would brave it.
We have been TTC seriously for over a year now. I'm 34 nearly 35 and DH is 34. We have had tests and all looks fine, so I am on my first cycle of Clomid.
I quite bad at handling the disappointment for the first few months of trying after AF arrived as I think, quiet naively that I would get a BFP straight away!
Now it has been over a year, and are under a consultant I strangely feel a lot calmer, I think because I feel like we will get sorted one way or another, it's just a matter of time (fingers crossed)
I haven't had any side effects from Clomid so far, and I am really hoping that it will work it's magic as it would be so lovely to announce our BFP at Christmas time especially as family & colleagues keep asking 'Why haven't you started a family yet!' constantly!!!!0 -

Hello,
Another newbie here....braving it!
Hubby and I have been TTC for now 20 cycles and not even a hint of a BFP. I'm just about to turn 35 and hubby 33 (soon 34).
We've been under a consultant since February and had all sorts of tests. On our last appt he wanted us to try naturally for a futher 6 months which takes us to November and then we'll see what the next action will be.
On my last bloods (day 2/3) my FSH levels were slightly increased (never have before on prev) so I have to do this again at nearest period to next appt to see if they have increased futher. Although he said he was not overally worried as not so high he would do anything anyway. I'm keeping fingers crossed they go back to normal!
Hubby SA was high count and motility but sub morphology but again he said he was not overly worried about these results.
We're doing literally everything we can eat healthy, vits, ovulation testing etc but at the same time try and remain as relaxed as we can to improve our chances.
AF due next week and I am praying that we finally get our BFP as each month of late is getting harder :-( Frustrating thing for me is AF symptoms are the same as pregnancy symptoms....sore and firm boobs, cramps...etc etc so I have no learnt not to read into anything my body does, lol.
Anyway, sorry for waffling....kind of nice to put it out to people who understand this crazy time.

I suppose now would be a decent time to join this thread. DH and I have been TTC since September 2012 actively. Have spoken to the GP about it being a year since we started. Unfortunately there is nothing that they can or will do until my BMI is below 30. At the moment it is between 47.5 and 45, depending on where in my cycle I am. :mad:0

I sometimes dream we have a baby and wake up and for the split second I think its true and then reality hits.
I've had that dream too several times. So upset when I wake up and remember I'm still childless. Still hope each month that I will finally have a BFP. Got excited at the start of the week as I was exhausted & couldn't shift a head ache. Then told myself to calm down as I'm unlikely to be pregnant on CD15.
Thanx for setting up the new thread T2D. Hope we're all on here a short time.
Hi Danielley, choc-addict & Mrs_T_M :hello:The biscuit will only dare to be just a biscuit when it is with its true friend the potato. (Edward Monkton) :beer:0 -
Welcome Danielley, choc-addict and Mrs_T_M. What a lovely side effect of the new thread! Nice to see some new faces.
(If you know what I mean... not nice that you are here of course)
I've had to actually focus on work a bit this afternoon, but will try to update all the lists tonight, otherwise it will be Sunday.0
