Love actually ive changed a awhile ago aswell.just dont feel like im getting anywhere. So upset and angry. Gp wont refer me without my fs telling her thats what she wants and even then said just see anyother fs. Not sure how that would work as my fs ran the clinic on her own.im the mean time im taking 2 provera a day to hold back the bleedibg.

PM - I would definitely be putting in a complaint to the practice manager. And as I'm a stroppy mare I'd be following up with a letter to my MP (and letting the surgery know that you've done this). It is unacceptable for them to speak to you like that. If they have actual reasons for not referring you (medical or how things operate in your area) that's one thing, but I really do think they're being out of order with you now.

It's not fair, but one thing I've learnt from years of dealing with the NHS is that you often have to kick up a (polite) fuss to get what you need. A letter to my MP got me referred to the top endo gynae in Wolverhampton a few years back.

(fwiw, I very strongly believe that this whole thing is in God's hands, and that if/when I get a baby is up to him. However, it is totally unacceptable for a GP to say that to you, their personal views are nothing to do with your treatment).

I'm really angry for you!

From reading your story since you came on the ttc thread, you seem to have been given some out of the ordinary treatment - although Im not a dr clearly and Im sure there are reasons for it, although it doesnt seem to be helping you with all this awful bleeding, but now not only you are having to find another FS, I can not believe a dr would say something like that & is preventing you from getting another one.

I'm incensed for you! Is there another gp at your practice you can see, or just get an appt somewhere else this week?

Thanks tea. Ive been to my mp before but hes useless.the best outcome for me today would be refered. Im going to try to get hold of my fs today to ask her to write to my gp.I just hope that helps. I felt like she was reducing the importance of my fertility treatment as she said god will give me a baby when im ready she wasnt listing to the fact we have 3 different probs between us.

Claire im afraid im not joking.i m so upset right now. Ive not had any good exerienes with any gp at my practice. When i had majour surgery last year it took over a year to fight to get the surgery. I also have a huge history of depression etc and one gp gave me 6 months worth of anti depressants all at once.

!!!!!!????? :mad: What an insensitive, inappropriate and horrendous comment to make, even worse that your GP (someone who should focus on your medical issues not spiritual aspects) should say that. Definitely complain to the practice manager and to your local CCG. Is there another surgery you could transfer to? I realise that might set you back a bit but it maybe worth moving away from a GP determined to put obstacles in your path.

9 little eggs busy being icsi'd now. All very easy, no option for dh to be in the room! No real idea on egg quality yet, although embryologist said at least half looked mature.

I'm feeling quite queasy. Will update later.
