  • Good luck today time2deal! Fingers crossed for a bumper crop :) xx
  • Sorry haven't been on here for a few days and there was a lot to catch up on!! :)

    Frozen/SewIt - hope the DRing is going well. How long are you doing that for?

    T2D - Good Luck for today, will be thinking of you :).

    PM - I have the Zita West CD which I bought on eBay, there are usually people selling them on there. I find it very relaxing and have even fallen asleep before I've got to the end :).

    WTDN - Good luck on Friday for you :)

    Hugs to anyone that needs them.

    AFM - I've got my protocol through last Friday from the hospital so as I'm on the short protocol I don't DR but I start my norethisterone on Saturday until the following Sunday & I'm booked in for my baseline scan on the 29th and starting my meds on the 30th. I'm on Buserelin for 3 days and start my FSH inj (was Menopur 300iu last time) on the 31st.

    I had reflexology on Monday, has anyone else been doing anything like that or acupuncture?

    Good luck T2D!

    Fairy Dust-I did acupuncture for my last IVF cycle and found it definitely helped me relax.
  • :wave: helllloooooooo

    Havnt been on for a while, was away at new year and thought for a little while that we could be pg as was 10 days late even though kept getting bfn so it turned out just another one of mother natures games hmph

    Anyway went back to work on Friday 3rd only to be told I didn't have a job anymore due to cuts, didn't qualify for redundancy but they agreed to pay me till end of feb and didn't have to work notice.

    Was bit o a blow and more upset that would have to put babymaking on hold again. So i been busy scouring the net, visiting agencies, interviewing etc and I now have a job woohoo so it's worked out quite well missed this month now I think but back on track for next.

    No idea where I stand if I fall in next couple of months maternity wise but at least will have money coming in. It feels a but deceitful getting a job when I know I'm trying but that's life I guess

    Have only really skimmed back as several pages worth to read but good luck today time2deal hope all goes well

    Hope all you ladies are ok too x

    Good morning all!

    ++++++

    TeamL - Congrats!

    +++++++

    Hope all goes well with your eggs today T2D. Let's hope there's a golden one in the batch..

    Fairy - I did reflexology and acupuncture in the past. Quite nice and relaxing (and expensive) - but it didn't work..

    Who knows what the magic ingredient is though? Maybe it's something different for everyone. That's why we keep chasing the answer and trying things (that in normal circs, I'd have dismissed out of hand as woo.)

    AFM, Danielle kind of prompted me about my blood concerns, so I went and had a blood test to check coagulation, as well as a whole battery of other things (liver and kidney function, sugar and cholesterol.) Why not? Once you're over 40, you're entitled to a health MOT, this is sort of that. I don't ask much else from my doctor...although I might chance my arm next week when I go back for the results and ask for some diazepam. Getting through the days is harder and harder (work stress, as if the womb stress wasn't enough..!)

    I'm on CD1 today, pleased I know where I stand at least, at last, and ready to face up to another month. The last week has been quite hard though, willing lines to appear when they just didn't want to.

    If only wanting would make it so..!

    I have never felt so far away from having a baby.

    But I could be wrong! Wishing you all good eggs (and whatever else it might take.)

    x
  • Part Mouse – I’ve got The IVF Belief CD by Helen McPherson. I bought it through Amazon (it had over 20 5-star reviews so I thought it was worth a shot). I’ve found it pretty good so far – it has 3 tracks (a DR one, a Stimming one and an ‘after ET’ one) and the lady’s voice is quite calm and soothing. I’m usually asleep for about the last 5 minutes so I have no idea what she says at the end!

    Whattodonow – exciting news about Friday! xx :j

    Fairydust/SewIt – I’m on a long protocol so I’m DR-ing for 3 weeks until my baseline scan on 4th Feb and then will be still using the spray for another 10-14 days while stimming. All in all, I worked out yesterday that from the initial sniff on 13th Jan to my day 10 scan on 14th Feb totals a huge 264 sniffs!

    Hugs, egg dances and good luck to everyone xx :)
