T2D DH had to come with me on EC day but he waited on ward while I was in theatre (clinic policy). He couldn't get time off work to come to ET and we both wished he was there. The ET room setup prevented anyone other than the doctor, nurse & embryologist from being at business end. So far DH is frustrated he hasn't been with me at the clinic (although he came to all the essential appointments) and has offered to come to stim scans. I did put him off that.

Did you figure out what could be causing the bum pain tea?

Stimms scan? Is that a dildo cam then?

Has anyone ever been monitored by scan when taking clomid?

I know in Feb that the FS is going to put me back on clomid for another 3 months, but I want to ask to be better monitored. Because I was stressing the whole time last time. I was constantly on edge wondering if I'd ovulated, wondering if it was working, wondering if I could be pregnant! I never switched off and it was really hard time. These past 2 months off clomid have been so much nicer, easier because I've just gone with the flow knowing I probably wouldn't get pregnant before Feb. Which I've not....

Oh my goodness I feel like I've been away for years. First off, mega congrats to Teamlowe :) Any news from BZ yet??

And how exciting for all of you beginning cycles. I have everything crossed for you all. Please please please let 2014 be THE year.

And welcome to our newbies, may the odds be in your favour xxx (Yes I am reading the Hunger Games books at the moment :rotfl:)

AFM, I am getting ready for a lap&dye next week. Quick blood test this Friday, into day surgery ward on Thursday next week and, all being well, home that evening. I'm stupidly nervous about it, about the general anaesthetic rather than the procedure, and have an urge to get my affairs in order. Please feel free to tell me how daft I am AFTERWARDS ;)

I'm late for the update last night, but here's my up to date info:

Floaty: awaiting Lap&Dye 23rd Jan then, hopefully, referral for IVF.
35, OH 39, unexplained IF (all tests normal), no joy w/ 3 cycles of Clomid, IVF1, Jan 2015 - BFN. Currently in 1st FET cycle using endo scratch and EmbryoGlue, BFP 4th July. MC 12th July :'(

Hi ladies. Glad I asked about dh coming in. I always think I'm the only one worrying about these things. I am not nervous at the procedure, I've had lots of similar things, so maybe I will just ask him to wait next door. The clinic is small so I know he can literally wait outside and be there if necessary.

I'll see what he wants too. He surprises me sometimes, he is the silent type. I assume that means he is only thinking about football, but its seems sometimes he is thinking of other things too!

That's the one, but you're out of it.

Sorry Tea, not wanting to be contrary (and sure I'm probably just awkward) but under sedation I'm never unaware of what is happening sadly and it has been rather unpleasant in the past, before they gave me my extra tablets. Not wanting to scare anyone or worry anyone, just so folks know it's not always a nice rest. It's only after I get away with the fairies.

Either way it's bearable and a worthwhile process indeed :-)

  • God, its REALLY dragging until we get the call on Friday about DH's SA

Blooming horrid day today.... almost crashed on ice in a country lane - literally slithered across the road almost went into the blinkin' hedge! Eeekkkkkk

THEN, had to do TWO bloo*y "baby" groups - and because the mums were all chitty chatting, i had to hold numerous babies. Yes, I must have held at least 7 different babies today - all under 12 weeks. After about 16 weeks, they lose that "baby smell".... but these all had it.

    Absolute torture.

I felt like a crazy baby lady - like one of those middle aged single women who get one of those creepy baby doll things to push around and pretend they have a baby. The ones people steer their children away from because they might steal them.

(I am not going to steal a baby btw lol.... i just want my OWN!!!!!!!)
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

Oh that must be a right pita lisa. I've never been able to tell the difference between sedation and GA (had plenty of both). I must just be extra susceptible!

ETA: just seen you're in nuneaton, that's near me :)
