Regarding that Hypnosis CD it was your advice I followed and bought the CD. have to say its very relaxing but never got to the end of it I always fall asleep and realise in middle of night that its still playing and wake up to stop and disconnect.

I also have the affirmations but did not listen to them yet as I have not yet started the treatment only listening to one enhancing fertility track.

Good luck for tom t2d! Regarding OH being there I would prefer mine didn't see me in that way unless he really has to x on the other hand if I was scared I might prefer him with me up head end. No choice for me anyway - OH isn't allowed in at EC time at hewitt x

Can I ask when cds/dowloads people are listening to? were a way from ivf but love the idea of enhancing my fertility.

Oh blimey.
I have problems with EC under seadation.
I get so worked up that sedation doesn't really have the desired effect and, well its not the best experience to have to the point that they now give me extra sedatives the night and morning beforehand. Anyway what i'm trying to say is if he wasn't there I think i'd struggle to get through it at all.
As long as he is there hand holding and making comforting sounds alls good, plus if you are anything like me after the extra sedation drugs you'll need him to listen to what the nurses say like amount collected and any info on leaving because i'm usually so far gone I don't know what day it is!

PM - I am listening to Zita West CD at the moment, only 20minutes long but the first night I fell asleep before she had finished. I've not been able to use it for a few days so will use again tonight.

Tea - Was it you who said you had bum pain? like in your coccyx? I've had odd sensations, painful ones there for the past week or so. Not constant, but like dull ache that comes and goes? Weird!

Also had some ovary pain or what I think is ovary pain the last couple of days. Being a woman sucks!!

MrsDavo, it was me with the bum pain, I truly am glamour personified.

T2D, I had ec under sedation so OH was waiting on the ward. Before we got to et I really didn't like the thought of oh coming with me, but on the day I felt so ill I was glad he was. I was actually pretty covered up (far more than for scans) and he sat by my head and held my hand. Sounds weird but it was really nice, felt v close.

T2D. I don't have any experience of that so I don't really know but I don't think I would want my oh to be there for something like that.

Maybe I'm unusual but I do think you need some privacy even within a relationship. (I'm not totally convinced I would want my oh to be there if I were giving birth either which I know is totally weird). Every couple is different though.

Also I would be stressed about him being stressed which is just too much stress!

It would probably be a good idea to have him waiting nearby to keep you company, ask questions etc.
If you don't have time to have a talk tonight could you just wait and see how you both feel at the time?

I'm sure it will go well for you either way. Fingers crossed.
